How does one tell his/her former boss not to bother one anymore? I got a call from the secretary of the firm where I did my Internship that they’d be needing me to recruit some set of people. This is just few months after I recruited about 40 applicants for them. I am wondering what they did with the data I sent them last. They gave an offer to only 1 engineer out of the dozens of people that applied the last time. Now, they want me to recruit again and I can’t say no, but honestly, I am tired. I told them I’d give them feedback today, but I hadn’t even done anything. It’s becoming bothersome calling for applications every time on my LinkedIn account. It’s not like I am a Human Resource person or something. The most tasking part is sending rejection mails to the applicants that weren’t shortlisted for interview. Maybe I’ll call the office and tell them I can’t go through with the process. Btw, This is my article for today. It is a broad view on my post here yesterday. https://read.cash/@Giddyboy/you-are-perfect-in-your-own-way-3d7d7177 Have a wonderful week. Cheerio.

What's their point at bothering you at all? That's the question comes into my mind. It's hard to tell a person about rejection. And telling to more than one person? That's really hard.
You should start send them an invoice for the last search. Then you may never hear from them anymore 😎
Tell them to increase the pay so it will be worth the extra stress
Just make a suggestion to on better ways to get applicants, probably through job site creation for the firm. Have them understand that the previous experience on how the firm handled the applicants had made it difficult for you to get more.
