It wasn't until I heard this little fella meowing under a car, scared and alone that I realized that...
I really don't like cats.
But, I wasn't about to leave a helpless stray kitten out on the streets to fend for itself.
So I did what any decent human being would do, I brought him home to keep him safe while I managed to find him a forever home.
Now came the question of what to name him, it had to be a generic temporary name so I wouldn't get attached during the time it took for us to find him a home.
Meet Bunny.
The name seemed suited, since he did look like a big floofy bunny rabbit.
And he was quite the destructive, it only took him around an hour to get used to us and boy did he enjoy destroying the couches.
His favorite hobbies were scratching me, biting me and destroying anything he could get his little paws on.
Now this wasn't a first for me, stray cats are common where I live and I tend to let them be as long as they seemed to be doing alright unless it was injured or a lost kitten then I would take them in give them the care they needed and see if I can find someone who would adopt them.
But, as Bunny grew so did my attachment.
He sure is one majestic cat, both his character and antics made me love him day by day.
He grew into a lazy cat, didn't like doing much other than eating, sleeping and getting plenty of pets from everyone.
He loved sleeping in my bed, I'd like to think it was because of me but in reality it's because my bed is comfortable.
He still had his chaotic moments.
Especially when it was food time, and don't even dare feeding him something he does not like.
And don't even think about scolding him, he can sense love so he takes advantage of that knowing that we would never do anything to hurt him.
Everything was going well, despite the shedding and constant scratches we received. He was an overall good cat, and we had some good years.
But then Bunny went and knocked-up a stray cat.
Hence Bunny Jr. was born, and he is just as chaotic and crazy as his father was in his youth.
So I guess this is it, these two rascals officially turned me into a cat person and I wouldn't want it any other way.
