Superhero comics are prized for the stories they tell about our favorite characters. Thanks to them, today we can enjoy great movies in the cinema.

However, there are some specimens that due to their rarity are difficult to obtain or are auctioned for huge amounts of money.

I have decided to make this short list of the most expensive comic books ever sold.

Action Comics #1

It is the edition that presents Superman for the first time and the most sought after by collectors. It is the Holy Grail of comics.

It is believed that there are only 4 copies in stock. The last copy auctioned, was sold on eBay for $3.2 million.

Amazing Fantasy #15

Spiderman is a well-loved superhero and perhaps one of the first people people meet in his life.

Amazing Fantasy #15 is the first appearance of the wall-climber in the comics. The specimen sold for $1.1 million almost a decade ago.

Detective Comics #27

It is the first appearance of Batman in the Detective Comics series. It is a very difficult comic to get, no collector wants to get rid of it.

The last copy was sold for $1,075,000.

Batman #1

Again we meet the Night Knight. This is the first issue of its official collection.

Characters like the Joker and Catwoman appear in this comic. It was sold a few years ago for $ 567,625.

X-Men #1

This Stan Lee and Jack Kirby comic presents the team of mutants for the first time.

The last copy auctioned sold some years ago for almost half a million dollars.

Conclusion

Very few can afford these figures of money for a comic. Only those collectors who have yearned for it for a long time and have a few million saved.

There must be an immense number of people who once discarded these specimens that cost a few pennies. Today they are worth a fortune.

Your selection is quite correct. All those comics are all time valued by people. I can't remember the number of times "The Batman #1" was advertised by a cinema in my city two years ago, and people kept patronized.
