For those who don't know this great project, Bitcoin Green is a full node implementation BUILT FROM ZERO AND WRITTEN IN JAVA.
Created from scratch to have a greater diversity of nodes and on the other hand not possess those uncovered errors, those primary nodes born of Bitcoin core forks.
And written in java with the same purpose of diversity, this because java is a very versatile and highly used language, leaving aside this stigma that anyone who wants to contribute with should be an expert in C++, so Bitcoin green with this provides a clean base code, which can be easy to read, understand and maintain.
Project developed by a great team, largely led by Josh Green.
Who is Johs Green?
Josh Green is the owner of the project's leading "Green Software" software development company.
Also this project has been presenting us with its objectives in the future which are:
Improve Bitcoin Verde to where node operators can reliably run our software.
Continue to grow Bitcoin Verde as a mining node.
Implement new and upcoming wallet features, including double-spend proofs for better zero-conf security and support for fulcrum/electron wallet servers.
During their funding campaign at Flipstater there were some doubts, even within the same team of whether it would be possible to reach the desired amount, but these doubts gradually disappeared when recognized users of the community, as they are @MarcDeMesel @RogerVer @Molecular @Btcfork among many taxpayers, these being mentioned above part of our Read.cash community.
Marc de mesel has been one of the users who has provided the most support to this project, using its main social networks to generate an impact on this project and thus achieve that this fundraising campaign reached its success and also by donating out of its own pocket, a total of 242 BCH, representing 50% of this fundraiser
