I received a call from my cousin from my father side, asking me if I can buy her a new cellphone. I told her that I'll just give her my old phone but she refused because she prefers a new one. The thing about some kids these days, aside from being too emotional, they're too demanding and materialistic. They demand you to give them this or that without proving that they are worthy enough to get a reward. In order for you to learn the value of something, you must know you have to work for it. Especially if you are still a student, don't be so choosy. Do good on your studies, someday all of the things that has been deprived from you will come. It's okay to get hand me down things, not brand new stuff. You just have to wait for the right time and the right season... Na share ko lang, na HB na naman ang lola niyo😅 ©Photo not mine.

You're right! What I'm thinking, and every 'kid' should think: receiving an old phone is cool, I can use it for take some step ahead. I have a phone and I can save my pocket money (doesn't matter how microscopic is that - I had no pocket money for a looo...oong time :p But eventually I bought my first supernew phone with my own money, anyway...) in the meantime. I'll learn how to handle the phone, how to take care of it... so after I mastered this skill (as you mentioned perfectly) I showed that I'm worthy. I remember every time when I see a 'kid' (80% of them :)) ) on the train or whatever... taking out their phone with a broken screen ... well this is a valuable question about everything: Can I replace it if it's broken, or if I loose it... NO? Well, than I can't afford it, YET. (and YET is very important.... it make us motivated, to look forward in life, and make achievements doesn't matter how small they are, but give us valuable power... ). Nobody can have it all. Every time there will be something new, better. So I support you in your thought: kids have time to study and shape their mind... it will be the best asset later... Plenty of new phones every day if you want or whatever will be the next thing in 10 years... but it's all showing what you search for... >D Right time moments will exponentially grow IF there is a good reason. Let's focus on the reason lovely kids! Have a stunning one! >D

Good morning dear Germhel, unfortunately these are the new generations, and the parents are to blame for allowing such ugly attitudes, we are in a century where we are being very permissive, where children are growing up with a wrong concept of what is Freedom of Expression, and their rights, we must always remember, If you want the best phone, earn it, with a good attitude, with good grades, learning, being a better person, but if we give you everything because there is money left over, then we will be creating materialistic, selfish beings, who will only move by an interest, and will not care about the opinion of others, greetings.
Correct po ate Mel.. Be practical po. Kapag di pasok sa budget, matutong mag adjust.😊 tiis tiis mga gnun po muna.
