Tangled...

Mark is introverted and not a social freak, most of the people he has met in life usually call him an outdated human. Truly he would need multiple upgrades before his lifestyle can match the trend among his age group but one thing he does best is pampering females. Despite that, he has been unlucky in his past relationships.

He hasn't met his kind, his past relationships were mainly about wild girls. His romantic way around women makes them crush him on but when they get to know him deeply, they just enjoy his money and walk away. Mark doesn't give up, he believes he would find his kind someday and I think having such an idea at 25 is not bad.

Mark works as an architect, he is hardworking and a successful one. On this faithful day, He went to a particular site to check out some lands that were to be used to construct a huge estate, the engineer in charge once saw his work and admired it a lot. On arrival, the place was empty.

He was not happy because the person handling the project gave him time and he had to drive 3hrs to the small town where the land is located.

After waiting for an hour, it started raining. He sat in the car waiting but there was no reception so he drove to a nearby house for reception so he could call the engineer handling the project again.

While he was pacing around, a beautiful lady approached him from one of the rooms in the house he was hiding. She offered him water and Mark was blown away by her beauty.

"Thanks a lot beautiful lady," Mark said as he stretch his hands to take the cup of water from her, "My name is Mark" he added.

She smiled and reply, "I am a queen". Mark smiled as he continued the introduction, they went on talking for over 30 minutes. He was really into the conversation, who wouldn't want to spend time with a beautiful angel like Queen.

He stopped calling the engineer, It seems he has found something he has been looking for all his life.

He offered Queen lunch in the town's finest restaurant which she agreed to, Mark wish he could kiss her lips the moment she walked out of the room looking stunning for the lunch date.

"Isn't this too early?", Queen asked. We just met like an hour ago and we are going on a date, Mark smiled and made her understand how beautiful she was plus how he feels like she captured his heart already.

He held her hand as they walked together to his car, the people around were wondering how someone who hid from the rain is taking their neighbors away. Queen direct him as he drove to the restaurant, it wasn't the city standard but the moment was all that matters to Mark.

They got in and took a seat, they order different meals and drinks till the table was full, it looked like they were having a feast.

Hard to believe that Mark has fallen in love already with someone he met barely an hour ago, they ate, talked, and were there for hours.

He finally asked her if they could be friends, she agreed and things got tightened so quickly between them. They met each other family, fixed a date, and got married.

It looked like Mark's disappointment at the site resulted in a blessing for him, he was sitting alone while his wife was cooking when he said to himself, "the guy they thought won't get married is expecting a baby". He smiled and readjusted on the sofa, his phone rang. Mark stood up to unplug where he was charging, guess who called???

It was the engineer, he smiled and walked back to the sofa. "This woman and her problems, she just remembered me after a year," he said as he sat.

He picked up the call, he teleported into his car when he heard her voice. It sounded she was saying "hello" and knocking on something at the same time. Mark opened his eyes properly and noticed he was still having the cloth he wore to the site on.

He opened the car door and saw queen, she asked if he was the architect because she has been trying to reach him but he wasn't picking up. Mark was confused so he called her Queen, she asked if he was referring to her as queen.

It was then he knew, everything was just a dream. The engineer and Queen look alike, could this be a hint from God? Mark said to himself as the engineer showed him around and what kind of structures they want.

Mark kept thinking about her while driving back home, he wasn't sure if he should step up the job relationship. What if the dream were just pictures running through his head, everything looks tangled.
