Today is a great day for me on the platform, I feel really happy reaching 200 subscribers. The progress might be slow because I have been here for nine months now but my engagement started properly about 5 months ago.
I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported me so far on the platform, my readers, my sponsors, and everyone who has impacted me one way or the other. To the founder and sponsors of this great platform, I say a big thank you.
The Almighty God will continue to bless everyone and met with you at your point of need.
In the simplest form of explanation, I would define resources as tools materials, or anything you can use to achieve targets, goals, dreams.
A lot of us possess numerous resources that could help us become successful in life but we keep using them wrongly, this might sound unbelievable but 40% of the resources we have is what some people out there need to see their dreams come true.
We are obsessed with the belief that money is the only resource we need to be successful in life but the truth is that resources don't stop at just finance.
Resources include:
Humans
Having people who can guide you through the journey to success is a great blessing, these people are filled with ideas and they can put you on the right path to achieve anything you want to become in life.
They are more of a mentor, a real life mentor you can walk up to for advice and guidance, not just the ones we watch on TV and read their books. It is just sad that a lot of us don't appreciate having these people while some people don't even take them seriously.
Opportunities
Not everyone considers opportunities as a resource but it is because it is not available to everyone who needs it so if you have it, you should understand that you have one of the rarest resources in the world.
There was a time opportunity comes but once but today some people don't get one in their whole lifetime, the available opportunity in the world wouldn't go round 10% of the world population.
Knowledge & Information
As simple as this might sound, it is a very important resource because you need it to use other resources perfectly. Knowledge doesn't end with what we learn in school, you need more than just that to go through the crowd and that is why we must keep learning every day.
The knowledge and information we possess can give us an edge above others if we make use of it properly.
I am sorry I just have to use the platform as an example more often, that's happening because the event matches the illustration I need perfectly.
A lot of people misuse the resources they possess today and still complain of been unlucky in their endeavors, it won't work out because you can't drop your seed on the rock when you have fertile ground at your reach and expect it to grow. I want you to see the seed as a resource, and using it wrongly would make it go to waste.
About three months ago, I introduce a woman who runs a Point of Sale shop to Bitcoin Cash and I agreed to support her if she becomes a merchant but she wasn't convinced enough. That didn't stop me from visiting her shop and we became friends by talking about opportunities available out there, I wanted her to learn more so I introduced her to read.cash, and noise.cash but she wasn't serious like everyone I did introduce to the platform.
I decided to learn from her since she was too intelligent for herself, her ideas were all perfect to her hearing so I just kept quiet but her company was helpful since she stayed close to the farm. Recently she introduced me to stuff where you pay in some cash and earn every fifteen days after performing some tasks daily.
After looking into it deeply, I made her understand that the stuff had no future and it is more of a Ponzi scheme. The next day she told me that she had joined with $55 and I was surprised, she told more people about it and they came in as well including her husband.
The stuff was going on well and she got her first earning of $15 but few days to her second earning, the site went down, she told me about it and I told her to be patient because the people she introduced were dragging her. She showed me the platform WhatsApp group and I was surprised to see people demanding a refund of $2000, $3200 and above which was their capital, they are yet to earn a dime.
The stuff got me curious, why are people misusing their resources when there are legit opportunities out there?
I think this reason can be split into two, the first point is ignorance while the second one is greed.
Ignorance:
In 2018, I was introduced to stuff but I invested $10 because I doubted if the stuff was genuine. The question that kept coming to my mind was that how do they intend to keep paying people?
I didn't have the opportunity to first hand information of real opportunities then and I would have chosen the real opportunities compared to ones I had several doubts for. Been ignorant of how things were done by that dubious platform was a problem and I wouldn't have invested at all if I had some to guide me as I did to that woman in the story above.
Greed:
Talking about this, the people who are been warned but still went into it because of the unrealistic juicy reward are greedy.
Every opportunity comes with a risk and investing something you can't overlook if you lost it is something else and the most annoying thing is people going as far as getting loans just to invest in this silly platform. People keep falling scam every day and yet, a new batch of people still go into it with what kind of mindset?
How well are you using your resources?
Every resource we have at the moment might not remain with us forever because time changes and the way we use them can make a huge difference for us.
We should as well understand that not all opportunities can be taken, some come with huge risks while some with lower ones but that's not the case. The point is doing proper research on the benefits and terrible side of it, allowing the reward to prevent us from thinking well about the future of the opportunity might eventually end in tears.
Thanks for reading.
Greed is certainly the leading factor that causes swindling. Many have tried to make me register on platforms that claims to pay 50 percent of your investment every week. I mean how? The top companies that rakes in millions every day don't pay their investors that, how would an online one with no physical address pay that? I always say that if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. If we are not greedy then we won't fall for all these prevalent scams.
