How has social media influenced you?
I didn't know the title that best fits this article, it is annoying having content, and can't choose a perfect article for it.
Social media has influenced lots of life since we hardly live without those platforms, we engage on them day in day out. That's not an issue, the world is too stressful and the social media is where many seek refugees to get out of this boring world. It is a job for some, bloggers, vloggers, different kinds of content creators, influencers, comedians, and lots more spend lots of time to share and promote whatever they are doing so it is good. Its importance can't be overlooked and we can tell the difference between a world with social media and the one without it.
It has made communication easier, you can sell and purchase, networking - advertising is not exempted and you can trust me when I say that it has brought lots of development to the world but despite these great impact of these platforms, it is surprising to see that some people allow their lives to be controlled by the things they see which can't be proven to be true or false.
I saw a video and it had a huge interpretation for me even though people only laughed about it.
A guy who just completed court marriage with his wife posted on his profile that "Love is a scam". Isn't that funny? Yes, it is but it has a different meaning to me and I feel like he is trying to make fun out of the saying that is circulating in the street.
If this guy didn't add a video and just post the word "Love is a scam", many people will go on to support him. Some people will even go on to let someone else claims to affect their relationship because their very popular celebrity or someone they take a mentor doesn't believe in love.
Many have to let it sink into their head that the social platform is home to trash to some people, they just come there to drop trash and let people deliberate about it. So taking things too seriously because a popular figure said it or allowing it to reshape your life can be disastrous in the end.
Some women have allowed the things happening in the social world to destroy their home all in the name of feminism unknown to them that the celebrities fronting it are the most submissive ones in their relationships, some of them do these things for fun and traffic on their pages but some women take it so seriously that they ruined their happy home for it.
Likewise, the men, go on supporting famous men who claim that their duty is to provide money for the family and nothing else. They become dictators in their homes while those they are looking for as a mentor cook and even help their wives with laundry.
These people who post this shit can't be blamed for posting that nonsense because it is social media and it is a free world when it comes to sharing one personal life, all blame would go or should be for the person who blindly follows these people who use the social media as their waste bin.
Social media has condemned some people to depression, the things they see and read have affected them both physically and mentally, everyone is meant to be in control of their life why then should you allow some people somewhere manipulate your life when you can even prove that the things they post are real.
Some users even go on comparing themselves with the people doing well on social media but not in the real world. They compete with people who don't even know that you are existing.
Social media is a universe on its own and you can take advantage of it in numerous ways than allowing it to tear you apart, people have become successful from social media. Why wouldn't let that inspire success? Why do we choose the negative side of it?
The female influencer posted that "men can't be trusted" and you choose to be single while she is having her fourth child, they told you that you only have one life to live so enjoy yourself to the fullest and forget about tomorrow. You go about squandering every penny you make and they are somewhere investing to secure the future they told you not to care about.
Everything about life comes with good and bad sides and people daily tap into the bad side instead of the good. Anything that doesn't add value to us should be ignored no matter how important the person who posted it might be, living by their claims only makes us a puppet in their world.
There are countless opportunities on different platforms, noisecash and read.cash has much to offer than you can imagine. I can confidently say they have everything you need in a platform and tipping you for engaging is something you can hardly do in the social world.
The choice is yours to make, the way we process the information we see matters a lot. Whether you choose to ignore their claims that won't add value to you or embrace it and start having an issue, the choice is yours, remember these people won't be there to help you. It is the social world, be careful of how you allow it to influence you.
The new week is here again and we must not allow the setbacks of the previous week to affect our productivity in every area of our life, I pray things will work well for this week and our efforts won't be in vain.
As for me, I have stopped using social media for the meantime. I want to be productive and cut the distractions off and also it's making me anxious sometimes so I might unwind from it.
