The month of April is gone here is the month of May which is another chance to wax strong and soar on high like an eagle, becoming higher than we use to be before, and changing our level of earning to a new level, taking a greater heights, working in abondance and moving with supernatural speed of success and increase in all ramifications, and also to escape every temptation and problems that will come our way on a daily basis. Not that we always pray for all these but since there are part of life, they come unexpectedly. Though I had a vital role to play in the wedding which if I am absent people will notice the vacant, so I just decided to give a try when I arrived around 10:15am to my greatest surprise that's when they were about to start and I was so so happy, I ran in and tidy up what I was supposed to do before the occasion took place. Doing the right thing does not really waste time like we see it, it takes individual and our personal lives to do the right thing at the right time, reward will come both when we do wrong and when we do right, the right doing reward will come and the wrong doing reward will also come someone that does the right thing receive his own right reward and he who does wrongly will still receive his wrong reward also, no one will do the right thing and later be rewarded with wrong reward, even when men are full with evil in their hearts and upon all the Weaked heart, there's no father that the child will ask for bread and he gives a stone to the child. What you say about yourself, and what you do is who you truly are, because what you see and your thought about yourself is what you aspire to be, it is not what other people say about you, I've already said that nobody can use your face to judge your future, and nobody can determine your destination by your presence condition, mind how you present your name to people because it is how you present your name to people that explains yourself, it is what comes outside of you that will tell people who you are and what you do, though people sometimes pretend but pretense cannot last forever. **Image source** Your definition and the explanation you give to yourself is what people will use against you, people are ready to hear from you in order to give you a conclusion, people are ready to write your story and ended it with a full stop, but when writing a definition of yourself don't end it with a full stop, write using comma in other to be continued, knowing that God blessings does not have an end, he keeps on blessing us everyday of our lives, so if we write our story ended by fullstop. I got inspired when I read about the story of Joshua and Caleb in the scripture when they were sent to the land of cannan to spy the land, from the story I learnt that the twelve were sent to spy the land but some return with bad report which was as a result of fear they had the inability of knowing who they are, and what they could say to themselves, rather they came back with a negative report saying that the people dwelling in the land are giant that they eat up thier inhabitants and that they were even like grasshopper to them, they came back with a report that weakened the heart of those who sent them to go and spy the land. But when Joshua and Caleb return back they came with the fruit of the land explaining how good the land is to the people that sent them and thefore give hope to the people that it is possible for them to possess the land in a short possible time, and the people were so excited about the good report that Joshua and Caleb came back with, not that they wouldn't have join their fellow brethren to bring the bad report but their outstanding was that the were able to say good about who they truly are, and the were able to see themselves as important people not like grasshopper before the people the of cannan. When talking the comparison between the two people that return back with good report which is negative report and those remaining ten that also return with bad report negative report, all I am seeing there is the perception they all had,I would say that the ten had perception of concluding themselves as grasshopper and seeing the people of cannan like giant and like people who eat up their inhabitants, while the Joshua and Caleb never thought the same way they thought, Joshua and celeb say the positive in the sense that every giant can still be slain down and they saw the people of cannan as people they could defeat they never looked down on themselves by saying that they were like grasshopper to them. The same thing is applicable to us and how we see ourselves as, it is who we really say we are that we are, not what people say about us, people may read you low on the other hand but the lowness will only shows and exist when you conclude it yourself, everything begin we us, it's begin with our thoughts and our feelings so we shouldn't let what people say about us to stop us from focusing on what we define ourselves ,because they are people who are mainly to discourage you through their bad words. Be useful not to be wasteful *Work hard now that is day time to avoid regrets in the night time, for the night comes where no man can work again.* *work hard today to avoid regrets tomorrow because each day carries their own target.* When I was a little boy my father used to tell me that I should not miss any of my time that time waits for no one and that there are time for everything to be done, he I told me I should not waste any opportunity in my life because I might not have the time again, it is said that it is good to work hard in the daytime to avoid regret in the nighttime and I shouldn't be mixing up time, they are works to be done in the daytime and they are works to be done in the nighttime that I shouldn't use what I supposed to be doing in the daytime against the nighttime. It is very good to be useful now to avoid being useless in the future, they are works needed to be done at 20s to avoid regrets in the 40s they are strengths required at 20s and they're strength required at 40s and 50s, the strength in 20s can not be the same with that of 40s and 50s, so if we miss out what we supposed to do at our young age of 20s I don't think they'll be enough strength for us to go out for such again at our age 50s, as we know strength comes according to our age, and they are some certain age we lack enough strength. I read a book some years back that got me inspired and the book author titled it "youthful to be useful" and in his writings he was able to explain what supposed to be done by a youth and what supposed to be done by an adult, he make some explanations that it is not good for a youth to be lazy or to be idle, he said that is not good for a youth to stay without doing anything, he said that a young person that is sleeping in the daytime when their mate are working out there trying to figure out their future, and he is sleeping will experience failure in the future. They are strength in youthful age than in adult age, there are things that can be done by a youth which cannot be compared with an adult because much of the violence now across the world are done by the youths, they are jobs done by the young people, we have works in different categories, it is possible for a young person of 20 to 30 years to cover a distance run of 100meters in up to 10-20 seconds which a person of 50 - 60 cannot do such and even if he does the time taken by an adult will not will not be the same with that of a youth. We know it rightly even without anybody telling us, that the most of the robbery and other criminal cases are being done by the youth, there is no adult who's 50 - 90 years that will stand on the street and points a gun at someone demanding for money, or going to the bank to bring out some money, all these things are done by youth because they have enough strength in them, they go with confidence because they have strength in the sense that anything that comes their way they can easily retardate and overcome any challenges that will happen on their way. But the adults people cannot do such and if they do they will only contribute by giving advice to the young ones but them themselve they will not go because they know they don't have enough strength in them and all these things are really what is happening in our society today and in our world as a whole. It's good for us the youth to use our time wisely to avoid being useless tomorrow, we shouldn't allow our future to be used by any adult person in the name of money or anything, we shouldn't use the money aspect and destroy our brighter future, our future is very bright and it will come true if we avoid being bribe with money by the adult to do what we wouldn't suppose to do, it will come if we keep laziness aside and work hard out for success. How would I had paid? The higher the building the deeper the foundation that's where the building is situated upon, when the building is higher than the foundation the foundation will suffer much load and it's will become tired and worn out , before building a house we have to know the type of foundation we use from the starting and also the load that will put on it, in other to avoid a confusion to the foundation. Foundation here is the starting point of anything, and anything be the house you're building or a kid your are trying to train up, without starting first with a good and proper foundation nothing good will come out of it, most especially humans and that's refer to kids. It will be how the building is higher and the foundation becomes deeper if at all we need a proper building, though the foundation may look ugly but what it is holding become more beautiful than what is in the ground. There's no way a one story building foundation will carry up to four story building, and if such risk is taking such person taking the risk should be ready to see the house collapse and scatter, because a standard building needs a good standard foundation also, it is even good to make the foundation much stronger than the building because winds will come, rain also will fall on it, but when the foundation is strong enough nothing will ever fall the building. Thinking makes it so, not talking, when you talk too much that is a diseases because anything excess is a diseases, a talkative doesn't listen to another talkative they both would so be happy to display their talking talent in other for people to know that they can definitely talk, which I have said and I will still say it again that thinking brings more result much more than talking, when one is being able to understand the knowledge that lies in silence and the good results you will always have from it would be terrific. Something very funny just happen today in my work place and that is where I got this topic from, early this morning when I resume from duty, I was informed that there is a notice for every worker in our department giving from the management board. So I collected the letter when I open it I notice that they have assign other additional work for us added to the one we have been doing, and even the first one we were doing was some how much on us, but though it's something we agreed on we didn't complian much. But to my greatest surprise I was so shock when I saw another additional work, and they didn't even talk about adding money on it, they just wake up with such decision without even calling us for a meeting to discuss the issue with us, when I collected the notice I didn't say anything being I am not a type that quickly react on a matter. But most of my female colleagues reacted on the issue some were saying that they are not going to do such work that they are not slave that they are staff, they said the company were suppose to inform them before bringing up to their notice, they even over reacted, and I didn't say anything I couldn't even blame my colleagues because that's not the right way they company suppose to do things. After some hours left, some of them when to their different area of duty and some didn't, they were still complaining about the new work arrangement how bad it is, by some saying some bitter words that is unnecessary, but what came to mind was that there must be a reason for this, I when into the office and start thinking after a while I just decided to meet with the manager one on one and ask him why everything is like that, that I need to understand everything. When I met him in his office I greeted him and brought up the issue about the new work arrangement that I need to understand everything, he then laughed and said to me the management wanted to reduce some staff that they are not able to pay everyone due to the level of business and they just decide to bring in such strategy, he said that he has heard want my colleagues where saying and through what he has heard from them that they will no longer continue with the company again. He said I should sit back and focus on my work that he is ok with me, and I was like what if I join them by reacting the way they were reacted, that means I would have also lost my work, and from there I learned a lesson that thinking works more than talking, talking doesn't really make sense. Think more and talk less I know words were mainly to speak but we shouldn't talk everything if only we wants to live long on earth, think more than talking, thinking would help us to know exactly where to fit in words without misbehaving in other to cause violence among people. People that think more than talking are categorize to the class of wise people, because when people can control their emotions in a given reaction you become the most simplest man on earth, because there's nothing someone would say that will make them to release their anger any how. I woke up with a song this morning and till this moment the song is still in my heart, and the song is all about the goodness of God to humanity, all the days of our lives here on earth is as the result of God's goodness on us, and sometimes I do marvel at his good works, He is always faithful to the end, He is not like a man, He is faithful in all his ways, His goodness and is love is what keeps us all till this time. Though people might get wonder and confuse and also ask some questions about the Goodness of God, here the goodness of God is the life we are living, the favors we have been receiving from people, the goodness of God is when our expectations comes to manifestation and when we receive answers to our prayers, God's goodness are the good things we've gotten from God, such as the healing we've been receiving from him, good health, blessings and help in so many ways. No one is like our God , infact no one is good but God, there are times that people want to lost heart and disbelieve that nothing will happen but within a twinkle of an eye the goodness of the Lord appear to men and change things that looks difficult, impossible and insurmountable to surmountable. Until there's a change in your mind set before a change in your future, until one determine to get a new mindset and keep away the old one nothing will ever change from year to years, month to months, week to weeks and from day to days, sometimes we become the cause of being stagnant in life, because of inability to get a new mindset and begin a life afresh and enjoy life newly with a current mindset. If possible flash out all the viruses that was blocking your mind from adapting good thoughts, and good perception. Update your mind from the negative thoughts to the positive thoughts, I have been hearing of updating of computer and phone memories, but don't we think that the mind also neeyd such operation to be carried out in our mind if we must truly see a changes in our lives, because s person with a old mindset if not updated will not witness s new changes in him. Fear of failure can really cause someone to stay idle without trying anything at all, because when this fear is ruling you it's closes up every doors of giving a try, all what it will tell you is don't try it, you will fail in the process, if you try it nothing good will come out of it. It's a fatal error not to try because through trying comes every thing we are enjoying today, people don't just wake up and do it, they all make it through giving it a try, they tried it in secret and after succeeding they bring it out to the public, so trying comes the workshop and when the finally succeed they take it out to the showroom for people to see. Inactive is not a strategy Inactive is not a strategy it's not a skill rather, if we used inactive as a strategy without doing anything we would end up achieving nothing in life, while others are taking activity in trying new things and be coming out with a good and tangible results. If we continue by taking inactivity as a strategy we are doing nothing but fooling ourselves and also wasting our time for nothing, inactivity is just like being idle, an idle man is a devilish workshop they say, which those set of people are the kind of people who are depending on other people to provide for them, they are always expecting manner to fall, they become inactive on doing good things. Procrastination is not the best Procrastination can never be the best help and would never ever be, show me a person who always like procrastinating about things, and I would tell you someone who never achieve any goals, people who always like procrastinating remain in one particular stage in life without moving forward to the other side. Procrastination is the real killer of time, it happens when people sees opportunity that they supposed to give a try they will like some how come up with I will try it tomorrow, I will try it next tommorow or I will try it next week and before you know time has gone months will pass even years will pass without them trying anything at all. So it is a fatal error to stop trying, it's a fetal error in the sense that procrastination wouldn't help in the game of trying, if you see a good opportunity don't keep postponing try it and see how it will looks like, and stop killing your time with procrastination. An indecision is already a decision. An indecision is a decision already on its own, a question was asked sometimes ago during seminar, they asked if a certain company comes in to your locality and says they wants to hire people that would work for them just for one month which is 31 days, and at the end of the month each worker will go home with 5 million dollars or with one 1 dollar that duplicate it's value everyday, which one would you go for? Some people decides to go for 5million dollars and some decided to go for 1 dollar that duplicate it's value everyday, the presenter said alright let's see the results she started by calculating 1 dollar that duplicate it's value everyday from 1x2, 2x4 and so on and at the end of the month the 1 dollar that duplicate it value was very far bigger than 5million. And what I when home with was that so many people didn't even went for the 5 million dollars neither for the 1 dollar that duplicate it's value and the presenter concluded that they have already talking their own decision by not trying anything at all. So when people just decide not to try a particular thing that becomes their decision at the spot, because indecision is already a decision on its own. Conclusion It is good to give a try on something than not to try, it is a fatal error to do such because the moment we doubt ourselves if we can fly, we cease to fly at all, we learn to try on new things even when it's might fail at our first or second try, the first and second try should be the main reason we give up from trying.
