Devine Mercy Shrine
Devine mercy shrine.
The devine mercy shrine is a catholic monument it is located in El-salvador, missamis orriental phillipines, the statue of the lord is 50 feet high it is built In the middle of the mountains and it is 9 hectares wide. The devine mercy shrine was completed in 2008 it used to be an uninhabited forest a vast land full of trees, but someone took an interest in it so he bought and built one monument it is devine mercy shrine.
Many foreigners and enthusiasts come to the torrist spots, because we can still capture the view especially the statue, many people will come to different places and many also offer there and amazing monuments. When you get there you can tour all parts of the place to witness the beauty of the place and amazing things. Did you know that someone believed that a miracle happened here? Yes many people say that thier illness disappeared every time they come here, and do you know that you can climb with a big heart to the statue of the lord? (Why not, cucunot) yes, there are rules, these are the rules.
It is forbidden to wear sexy and hot clothes.
It is forbidden to wear shorts.
It is forbidden to wear pants.
You must be soothed
They also have a chruch they are building so that those who go there have the time or chance to go to church especially in the Catholic go there, there are other religions as well.
There is a something amazing that will happen, once a year it will take place the so called DANCING OF THE SUN, they wait for the sunset and sunrise to watch the sun dance. I don't know if that's happening even though im from there i haven't witnessed such a phenomenon. That will happen on the day of holy week, all the people who visit will flock to watch the dancing, but before that will sleep there until morning they will just bring foods, water, and so on.
But when i was young it was really a big forest, we were still collecting our firewood there, if we hadn't done that it was a really vast forest, maybe it was led by the rebels at the height if the construction we always went not only holy week usually every sunday aside to go to church we would ligth a candle it was just near our house where we live so we could just walk even if we were at home we could see the head of the statue in, because he has to work very high, he always constructs we always go. But now we haven't moved and we have a permanent address in the place we are moving to, far from missamis orriental so when we want togo there need a long time to prepare, i miss going there it's nice to get rid of tiredness when you step on it. For now we plan to go back again after the pandemic, hopefully we can get back there.
Hope you like my article hehe.
