Teens get pressured into doing activities they do not feel pleased doing by their friends all the time; it is a part of life that has to be acknowledged. Being taught how to handle peer pressure is a part of growing and learning. The first thing that flinches in people's minds when they hear 'social stress is peer pressure, whether positive or negative.

Social stress in uncovering friends is an unreasonable fear because it is a part of growing, and learning. As a teen, having a social life is very significant. No one wants to feel like a castaway and undesirable by their peers. "Everyone wants to be accepted by people they like. Teens in specific, who are going through some changes and hormones, feel the need to do anything just to fit in. It is certainly not bad to feel accepted and adored for being yourself.

Although making friends is a decent thing, they need to be careful with what kind of impact the kids are receiving. Even though attempting to make friends and fit in are part of growing up, parents need to be mindful of their children's actions.

Parents can play a role in how their kids respond when they are stressed. To prevent dilemmas that can become a rational fear, adults can help in many ways. Good solid relationships with parents, brothers, and sisters can have a huge influence on the person who is going through adolescence. Having serious talks, opening up when you felt any kind of emotion, and confiding within the family can help the child see what real and honest relationships should look like. Moreover, learning to see the disparity between fake friends and real friends could assist the kid in many ways. Today with all the technology, it can be easy to misunderstand the other person; it can lead to unrest and surface-like talks. "They don't know how to formulate deep, honest, and meaningful relationships..." If teens we're to open up to their siblings and parents and vice versa, it will lessen the peer pressure because they will be getting real and honest advice. Homes should always be reliable and comfortable places to communicate personal difficulties without feeling judged.

Families can also encourage someone to understand how to cope better in unfavorable situations involving drugs, alcohol, depression, etc. Negative peer pressure appears to overpower positive peer pressure which can govern to a lot of stress on parents. Even though peer pressure is more of unreasonable fear, it can be rational too

Those with stress anxieties or serious depression could argue peer pressure as being a rational fear. Not only do they have a fear of social stress, but counselors and parents may likely contend the point because they are involved in helping those try to conquer it as a living. "Anxiety disorders are medical illnesses that affect so many adults."

It is not unusual to formulate an anxiety disorder. That's why it is so important to have strong relationships with your family. "These disorders fill people's lives with severe anxiety and fear." If one does not deal with stress while it is still 'small', one can get himself into ailments which can become a rational fear for himself and his peers. Having social stress within discovering friends can go both ways with being an unreasonable or reasonable fear.

Many people would say that peer pressure is an unreasonable fear, while a smaller amount would probably insist on the opposite. Social stress is more probable to be an irrational fear because the Tajority of the population has 'normal' reactions to dealing with how to act around friends.

Everyone wants to be wanted by their peers because nobody likes the impression of judgment and withdrawal. It is not terrible to feel wanted. However, when someone goes so distant into what they want, it can lead to anxiety disorders. Parents can play a role in how their kids act when they are under a lot of peer pressure. They could prevent depression, drug use, alcohol, you name it. Making friends is not a wrong thing but there is a great line with learning how to handle them. Though friendships are very healthy to assemble, there can be a lot of unfavorable peer pressure which can lead to much stress on the explicit people as well as indirect people.
