baked the so called "Masaryk cookies". its an almost forgotten christmas treat, the cookies is a favorite of the first Czechoslovak president Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk. ingredients: 300g flour (all purpose flour). 100g powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon cocoa, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 200g butter, 1 egg yolk, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 170g combined hazel nut and walnut, chopped or crushed. roll or dust with brown sugar before baking. bake for 108C for 12mins.
