It seems that cheaper models of RTX 3060 cards are coming

Two manufacturers have announced that they will soon launch a new model of the GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card, witch a smaller capacity of video memory.

Nvidia could conclude this year witch two graphics cards from the RTX 4000 series, and we all know that the RTX 4090 and 4080 are not the cards used by the largest number of gamers. The news that a new variation of the old RTX 3060 card is coming soon is not surprising, as reported by the VideoCardz portal.

Manufacturers Manli and Asus announced the RTX 3060 witch 8 GB of VRAM, Four gigabytes less memory than the standard model could result in a slightly lower price, which is surely one of the plans for the battle against AMD and their future offering that will be presented next week.

Fortunately, this is not about confusing costomers as in the case of the RTX 4080 model- the RTX 3060 witch 8gb of video memory will be hardware-wise almost identical to the 12 GB model (in terms of clock speed and number of CUDA cores), with a slightly smaller bus and memory bandwidth.
