Everyone has their own battle.
Sometimes in work, family, disease or life.
Before COVID-19, my everyday battle was riding bus to go to my work. Everyday I have to wake up early to ride a bus because there are lots of people who goes to south. Most of the time, even if I'm early I'm having a hard time to ride a bus. People are pushing each other to get in. Even the boys are pushing the girls. And sometimes even if you're early you'll be late because of traffic. That's my everyday battle.
I also have my monthly battle. Every week of the month I have headache. My body hurts because of my monthly period. Sometimes I feel like I'm hot but my temperature is normal. I vomit even if I'm not pregnant. I'm irritated and don't want to eat. I'm having difficulties.
That's why sometimes I don't want to become a girl. Our monthly period gives us too much pain. Our monthly battle is not easy. You're lucky if people around you would understand your situation.
I can drink medicine but I really don't like drinking medicine. It might have side effects. I can put luke warm water in a bottle and put in my belly just like my workmates but I'm afraid. As far as I know, you can't take a bath or wet your stomach with water if you do that.
So please, just have more patience when we have our monthly period. Understand us more.
That's my monthly battle. What's yours?
