Presentations are commonplace in lectures and the world of work. Usually has its own schedule and routine, both individual and group presentations.

For some people, it turns out that making a presentation is not an easy thing to do. There needs to be many things to prepare, including mentally. Even so, usually the feeling of nervousness is still felt, for the following reasons.

1. Inexperienced

The first reason you may have is the lack of experience in making presentations. Especially if this is going to be your first experience, then it's natural to feel nervous.

The most important thing is to keep trying, even though you may feel nervous. By trying, you will gain new experiences for future presentations.

2. Not preparing well

Presentation, of course, is not a trivial thing, because there are special materials that need to be conveyed. Of course, this requires a lot of careful preparation.

It's a shame if you don't prepare well. It's natural that you will feel nervous, because you are not sure what to say.

3. Lack of confidence

Confidence is indeed an important thing to have. Unfortunately not everyone can have it, so it takes extra effort in the presentation process.

Lack of confidence will make a person easily feel nervous. The result is that they are not able to give a maximum presentation appearance.

4. Overthinking other people's reactions

It's perfectly normal to feel worried about other people's reactions. This is because of course you want to give a positive impression to others, so try hard for your presentation later.

Unfortunately, overthinking other people's reactions will make you even more nervous. Instead of giving your best appearance, you will find it difficult to control yourself so you don't appear nervous.

5. Anxiety disorders

Another reason that might cause you to get nervous easily is an anxiety disorder. This is one example of a mental disorder that can interfere with your daily activities.

Proper handling will help reduce your anxiety little by little. That way, this will not interfere with your learning process in the future, including for presentation matters.

It turns out that there are indeed many reasons why someone can be nervous during a presentation. The most important thing is to keep trying your best in every process. Must appear relaxed, yes!
