SpaceX CEO and founder Elon Musk has shown his support for Ukraine in various different ways. SpaceX sent its Starlink internet satellite to Ukraine, this gesture tremendously helped the Ukrainian government get their communication systems back on and running. However, Musk has another plan to assist Ukraine. “I hereby challenge Vladimir Putin to single combat,” Musk wrote on Twitter on March 14, 2022 “Stakes are Ukraine.” In this article, I’ll be going over who I believe would win if this scenario played out and what would happen afterwards.

Who Would Win?

To put into consideration, Putin is a judo black belt. According to Musk himself, “If he is afraid to fight, I will agree to use only my left hand and I am not even left-handed.” It seems Musk is extremely confident in his ability to win this potential matchup. Not to mention the age gap, Putin is a whopping 69 years old while musk is only a mear 50! Despite what many believe, I do consider the possibility of Elon Musk winning this hypothetical fight. However, I have to give Putin the win here. While Musk has a chance, he simply does not have fighting experience.

The Outcome

If Putin won, Elon Musk would look incredibly stupid and receive a ton of backlash. I mean, think about it! Musk is talking all this trash, just to lose. Elon would likely receive less Tesla sales, lose millions of followers on his social media accounts, and get death threats at a constant rate. This may sound terrible, but think of it the other way around. If Elon Musk won, he would be applauded and praised across the globe, receive crazy amounts of attention, and could potentially save Ukraine.

Keep in mind that the chances of this fight taking place are quite slim. Even though this bout probably won’t happen for obvious reasons, it's crazy that we live in a world where there is a possibility of the richest person in the world combat fighting one of the world’s most powerful presidents in history!

In Conclusion

To summarize, I believe Putin would take the victory because he has experience in fighting, unlike Musk. The advantages Elon Musk has over Putin would only come down to strength.
