The government do not care, do what benefits you

It is considered righteous to be patriotic, so people go out of their ways and inconvenient themselves to be just that. We all try every day to abide by the laws of our land no matter how ridiculous any of these law might be. The quest to be a patriotic citizen has led many to early graves and denied many others their deserved comfort. Our soldiers die at wars that shouldn’t even have been fault in the first place. People languish in poverty because they couldn’t venture into certain things that are considered illegal in their country.

It also seems like the ones who break the laws are the ones leaving their best lives. Many people break the law to become successful by the way. People traffic illicit substances, guns and even humans to become rich, even our so called self-righteous politicians do many dirty works in the dark behind the cameras to get to the top where they are. Some of our clergymen who preach righteousness to us on the alter do unspeakable things behind to ensure their own comfort.

These people make these laws not with the good of the populace at heart. They make some of these ridiculous law just to satisfy their own selfishness. They do not even care about what will benefit the people they are serving. But in order to ensure that their subjects dance to their tune, they sell us this idea of patriotism.

If not so, then tell me why something like football betting should be considered legal while, crypto be considered and illegal commodity. The answer to this question is not as hard as you may think. This is because they generate a lot of revenue from this betting companies through tax therefore, they do not care about the destruction betting brings to the door of the participants. People have lost their homes and at worst lost their lives to football betting which is just one the many gambling companies licensed to operate. Mind you, I’m not condemning any form of gambling because I know there are people living better lives today because gambling favored them. But my question still remains; how is football gambling better than crypto.

Crypto takes the control pad off our politicians’ hands. It offers a common man the freedom he deserves. It gives you the power over financial slavery to your own government. Now, do you see why I said some of these laws are not there to benefit you but to serve their own best interest? So even after knowing all of these, I should not go into crypto if I could find my way around the ban just because I want to be considered a patriotic citizen?

In order not to be misinterpreted, this article is not prompting anyone to go and break the laws of their land but it is telling you to use common sense and think for yourself. Do what you think is best for you, your freedom and your future but at the same time, do not hurt anyone in the process. With common sense, we can redefine patriotism and be patriotic.
