BCH is alive. ReadCash isn't dead either.

ReadCash is already an established platform so, absence of tips doesn't signify it's end!

The current price of BCH doesn't mean it is dead! It is not the first time BCH has been here. It always bounce back and stronger.

For long, read.cash has created a hospitable environment for BCH lover, random writers and readers, internet users, and the crypto community at large. I can confidently and boastfully ascertain that people have gained a hundred fold more in knowledge than they have in crypto(BCH) on ReadCash since its coming into existence.

Before the incorporation of the tipping robot, there were engagements on read. Even after the incorporation of the tipping robot, people who were consistently left out never ended up leaving because they were gaining on read in diverse ways other than tips. Not many people had the platforms to express themselves through writing (on any topic of choice) before coming on here. There were others who stuck around because they're learning new things by reading content-reach articles from experienced writers and experts on so many topics. Today, those people are still here.

What was the reason for introducing the tipping system? As it's clearly stated, it is to encourage writers on read.cash to bring on their A-game in dishing out read-worthy articles. It was to keep new writers on Read long enough for them to realise why they should stay forever. It was also to gift out BCH to people most especially, newbies as a part of its promotion. It wasn't meant to last for eternity. And if all the writers quit now because there's no more tip from the robot, that means the aim of the tip in the first place has been defeated. Of course, only those who were just here for the tips will leave but for those of us who understands the importance of building a community together in the name of BCH and keeping it alive, the party is just getting started.

The tipping function wasn't meant for the bot alone, users and anonymous readers tip even more. I have personally been tipped more amount by humans than the bot throughout my time on here. Therefore, if you take your mind off the tips and write on your favourite topics for the love of it, you will surely get tips.

For those who didn't know, the whole fund for tipping was coming from one man, donating 4,000 dollars per day and this has been going on for years. That's huge and You don't expect him to continue forever right?

So long as read.cash remain a functional website, I will be active here pointing out basics about BCH and sharing my journey with this awesome coin as I have always done.

Let the fake ones(tip hunters) leave so that the purposeful users can know themselves!

I still contend, and I think I may be in a bit of a minority, that we can have both. Tips AND a great site with great people and content. What I have said is that it is now up to us to get it done, and to share in not only providing continued great content, but also to not simply jump in, have a good read, click the upvote button and not tip.

Not that tips are THE end all to be all, as you said.

At the same time throughout my time here I have been quite vocal about the random tips and how they tend more to contribute to quantity over quality, and where quality was not necessarily appropriately rewarded.

Not so much by the Random Rewarder. But by the READERS. Because I always thought it was odd to write for the sake of a robot coming by and dropping a few "pennies" into my bank account. I much prefer to write to real people and have their appreciation, both in the form of continued reading and interest as well as maybe a tip here and there.

I am not sure that anyone will quite get it ultimately, but Rusty leaving us may be the best thing to happen to read since its inception.

I personally wouldn't celebrate the exit of Random Rewarder because I was benefiting from its existence but the point is, it's not the main goal of being here and its exit shouldn't prompt any good writer who enjoys writing leaving.

If members remain, I am not sure why we cannot continue to benefit, so long as we all contribute. I think we can still do it profitably as well. IF we actually do it and have a plan of attack.
