The revolution of robots in production chains is advancing by leaps and bounds in China, a country that plans to multiply by ten the number of industrial automata during the next five years, is something totally curious because where they welded 28, now they supervise three. Where they painted 12, now they review two.
The robots have taken over the production lines, and this new revolution has figures. While previously 430 people worked, now only 138 are needed to do the same tasks, says Efe Zhang Rongzhong, deputy director of the company DE & E, manufacturer of household appliances.
They made a tour of the production factory located in the city of Hangzhou, where the little personnel and the sophisticated robots inserted in the production chain boasted. The welding method of these robots is very high in terms of precision and the quality in the welded products is very consistent, with the traditional manual machine there are still 28 people in the position, now there are only 3 people who move the pieces while the "Motoman" Yaskawa "releases the heat to weld at a speed far superior to the human.
Industrial Plan for 2025
It should be noted that one of the biggest advances, because thanks to two robots that spray high-pressure electrostatic powder at high speed with 24 guns, a team of twelve people who previously painted by hand avoids being in direct contact with the chemicals.
A worker of this machinery said, "In the past we had many health problems for workers, it is not advisable to spend so much time working with chemicals."
With its industrial plan "Made in China 2025", the Chinese Government plans to increase the number of industrial automata operating in the country by ten in the next five years, reaching 1.8 million units by 2025.
This is a good development for China regarding the utilization of AI for boosting the industrial revolution in China.
