Elon Musk in Brazil
South African businessman Elon Musk came to Brazil to meet with President Jair Bolsonaro, politicians and businessmen.
So far, a partnership has been announced with Starlink, a company that is part of SpaceX (space company) and offers broadband internet via satellite. This structure, according to Elon Musk, will offer internet to 19,000 schools in rural areas. At the same time, Starlink will monitor all events in the Amazon, especially fires, illegal logging and the region's climate behavior. It is worth noting that the Starlink platform was the same one given to the Ukrainian government to maintain the country's connection with the rest of the world after the attacks by the Russians.
In parallel, Starlink expects to reach 60 thousand customers in Brazil in the first year of operations, with a focus on the South and Southeast regions, according to data from the Government of Amazonas in a statement made by the company to the Secretary of State and Economic Development, Science , Technology and Innovation (SEDECTI).
Starlink is a Spacex project that involves low-cost, high-performance satellites with the aim of offering high-speed, low-latency broadband internet.

The President of Brazil demonstrated at the meeting and on social media that he is a fan of Alan Musk:
