José Alberto Pujols made history in MLB by becoming the 4th player in the elite to reach 700 home runs, not an easy path for this legend.

On the same night of Roger Federer's retirement, another historic feat for world sport was achieved in another part of the world when the Dominican hit 2 home runs at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles to paralyze the environment of this sport, a fact that only 4 times it has happened. What if, in other parts of the world this milestone has been reached by Sadaharu Oh in NPB of Japan, where he achieved more than 860 home runs in total, probably no one will ever surpass him in any other league on the planet, other prominent ones like Héctor Espino hated a lot of baseballs in Mexico leaving magical records with more than 700 HRs in the LMP and LMB.

But yes, World Baseball dressed in luxury with a spectacular feat in a season where we have experienced spectacular milestones, such as that of Miguel Cabrera reaching 3000 hits, with figures that no other player has done, the historic season of Aaron Judge reaching 62 home runs in the season, to break the record in the American League and even achieve the Triple Crown of batting (leader in AVG, HR, RBI) that no player has achieved since Cabrera himself in 2012.

The great thing about seeing Albert's majestic home run is that reaching home plate was to celebrate first of all with his compatriot and another legend of this sport, Adrián Beltré, who also had 3000 hits and retired from the sport in 2018. Of course, all of his teammates cheered with all that historic hit, as did all the fans at Dodger Stadium despite being a player for another team, although it should be noted that Pujols was with them in 2021 before returning to the team of his life, the Saint Louis Cardinals.

The other funny moment was seeing how his old manager, Dave Roberts in fragments, shouted that hit with fury, celebrating that he had reached 700 but had to contain himself because first the team must be defended from him.

First, it was Babe Ruth, then Hank Aaron who broke the home run record in 1974 against El Bambino, it would not be until 2007 when Barry Bonds would become the new Home Run King who still owns that record, now the Dominican joins this magical list.

Pujols retires at the end of this season, which symbolically closes his great career which will take him to the HOF in Cooperstown, hopefully unanimously but his legacy is sure.
