Finally Saturday afternoon and time to cook. Still have plenty of Tacos left for the kids to eat tonight. Today I cook the classic Swedish dish Kalops. When I got home from the store, I saw that I had bought the wrong kind of meat, pork instead of beef. But then I thought I would take the opportunity to experiment a bit. Have a light and bright passion fruit IPA, I do a taste test and it goes well with bay leaves. First, the meat will simmer in the beer, water, broth, bay leaves, thyme and two kinds of peppercorns. About 2-3 hours, then I add carrots and shallots and simmer for another 2-3 hours. #Food
