Tonight when I brought my daughter to her musical lessons in the city I cycled along the canals.
When crossing a bridge I noticed an artwork that had been placed over the canal.
The arches form perfect circles in the water of the canal.
I looked it up on Google and it seems to be a creation of an artist called Kimsooja from South Korea. The work of art is eight meters high and supposed to be 31 meters long. This one isn't 31 meters, so I think it isn't finished yet.
And it already looks cool already!
I'm working from home today and it is dry at the moment, so I went for a walk.
There is this beautiful castle nearby with a nice park which is great for a lunchbreak walk.
It's qgetting colder here in The Netherlands, so the birds have more difficulties to find food.
So I've hung some bird feeders with peanuts and seeds in the trees.
This ringneck parakeet is seemingly enjoying it.
This quote was on the back of a box of cheese biscuits.
It's often easy to do something that puts a smile on someone's face. And it doesn't have to be expensive too.

Ive been quite busy in the past days, so I havent made any posts on Noise.App.
My last one was from 3 days ago.
But when I checked my BCH wallet today I noticed I had quit a bit of incoming transactions.
Today only 13 transactions with a total value of $0.52. Some as high as $0.10.
I really appreciate all the donations, but how come I receive these all today?
Is there a possibility that some transactions may be delivered with a delay? Any idea @simon ?
Does anyone else also experience this?
The Dutch team won the first match on the World Cup in a difficult match against Senegal. Cody Gakpo who made his debut on the World Cup podium scored the first goal.
Friday is the second match against Ecuador.

It won't be long until most of the trees have lost them all.
I have been raking the small lawn in my front yard for the third week in a row now.
When I look at the tree in our front yard I estimate just one more week before it's completely 'bald'.
The picture isn't from my yard, but drom a nearby park by the way.
We had quite a long and dry autumn with lots of sun, but since a couple of days it has been dark and wet.
The temperatures are going down quickly too. They will go below zero in the night in the next few days.
But wetness and especially frost will open up opportunities for cool photos.
I haven't been going for a walk in the past few days because I was too busy working.
That's why I don't have any new photos to share.
But I do have a large archive. This photo was taken during one of my evening walks last summer.
Today I reached 700 followers on the Hive blockchain.
It goes a lot slower than here on Noise.App where I already have over 350 in just a few weeks.
But I'm happy with every follower!
We went for a family walk over the boulevard today and experienced this beautiful sunset when we were there.
The first crop in our 'recently' started vegetable garden is growing nicely. It will tale some more time.before we can harvest it.
Apart from broccoli we have planted carrots, cauliflower and beetroot, but those were planted as seeds, so they are still very small.
It's a nice experiment and really cool to grow some some food yourself.
Does anyone else here have a vegetable garden as well?

This week I found a very interesting podcast about a man that thinks he was followed by a government secret service. His flight was overbooked, so the travel agency put him on another plane. But apart from one other passenger he was alone on this flight. Not even the cabin crew was present.
Unfortunately for most of you this one is in Dutch.
An English podcast I frequently listen to is Darknet Diaries. I really enjoyed the following one about the cyber attack on the 2018 Olympics.

This was my view when I was cycling to work today.
What a nice way to start the day!
A lot of crypto coins are in the red at the moment.
Quite some of my coins; BCH and Hive tumbling down as well.
Luckily I've also been collecting some Hive Backed Dollars. This stablecoin has 20% interest per year.
Interest can be claimed on a monthly basis and works compounding.
The rewards are quite small (0.10 BUSD per week), but it is a fun game.

The days are getting shorter, so I'm cycling home from work in the dark again.
Today I was accompanied by the moon which gave a lot of light.
I've been collecting POB tokens for over a year by using the #POB tag.
I have staked over 23000 tokens which gives me quite a big vote and thus even more POB tokens.
I recently discovered that I have been receiving PHOTO tokens for using the #photography tag and voting on posts with the #photography tag.
It is so cool that you can collect these coins without even knowing it.
For now I keep collecting them. The more I have staked, the more tokens I will receive for curating.

Today I started with a photo book form my oldest daughter. Every year I make a photo book for both my daughters birthdays with the photos of that year; holidays, daytrips, friends and family.
She will turn 14 in two weeks and I started doing this when she turned 4, so this will be her tenth book.
It always is quite a job, but it's nice to scroll through the photos of the past year to see what we all have been doing in the past 12 months.
