Is there a formula for success? There are probably many, but what I will share below are some of the habits that represent a pattern in the activities of people who, according to the criteria of many, have achieved success in their careers and personal goals:

Wake up early

A common quality of many high performers in their professional lives is that they get up early in the morning. The first hours of the day are often the most productive, which is why people like Rand Fishkin ( organic positioning guru ) Elon Musk, Tim Cook, and Jack Dorsey have stated on multiple occasions that this habit of being awake has been decisive in their success. from before the sun rises to face the most demanding activities of our day.

Meditation

Being present is an action that many of us find difficult, but it is essential to stay focused during the rest of the day. Even if it is 15 minutes of daily meditation, it can help us free ourselves from our mind and start the day with that dose of meaning (or lack of meaning?) That our daily actions sometimes lack. Stop thinking and allow life to flow without restrictions is something complicated, but when you do it, it represents an incomparable satisfaction.

Exercise first thing in the morning

One of the first activities to do and that will help us maintain that balance in the state of the body that every human being needs, is to do any type of physical conditioning as the first activity in the morning. Regardless of whether you prefer to go for a run, cardio, a calisthenics routine, or lifting weights, getting moving in the morning will give you an energy boost that will keep you active and productive for much of the day.

More complicated slopes at the beginning

The first actions in labor matters when starting our activities should be the most complex or laborious. Taking advantage of the energy of the first hours we can be more productive and free ourselves for the second half of the day, when we can stop worrying about complying with urgent issues and optimize existing processes in our day to day, in addition to cultivating content relevant to our personal goals. There are several free applications that you can download from your smartphone to support your organization, one that I personally recommend is Trello.

Monotasking

I bet you have heard many people comment that they can perform various actions simultaneously, the famous multi-tasking. But what would you think if I told you that multitasking is counterproductive since it does not allow you to focus on what you are doing and you end up doing a little of everything without finishing it optimally? Dedicating time to each thing we do gives us greater organization and increases productivity in our daily goals. Psychologically it is also better to conclude 2 activities in a day than to do a little 10 since as we clear our daily planning to make way for new ones, our outlook and strategic vision becomes increasingly clear.

Founders of companies (Tesla, Google, Microsoft, Avatar, Google, etc.), CEOs, musicians, film directors, brilliant employees, and many others use these habits as part of their methodology in life, it is time to experiment and know what benefits we can obtain by replicating them in our area. Do not forget to share if any of these tips have seemed relevant or if you know some others to optimize the endless events that an apparently ordinary day in the life of a human being carries.
