Developing A Growth Mindset

There is this traditional saying your mindset is a magnet when you think of blessings you attract blessings, when you think of troubles you attract troubles if you imagine less, unquestionably less is what you deserve always cultivate the obsession of good thought and always remain positive.

A growth mindset is not something we are born with, we actually develop it which makes us feel empowered to work harder and doing our best knowing that we would get better at it someday or understanding that you get yourself involved in that activities would be beneficial in one way or the other. Mindset is everything, Whether you’re talking about career success, academics, starting your own business, getting through a difficult lifestyle, being a single mother or single father, having the right mindset can make the difference between success and failure. An Individual with a growth mindset believes that our intelligence, personality, and resourceful ability are not stagnant.

How growth and a positive mindset can help in accomplishing an objective or goals

Instead of contemplating “ I can't do it" because you are scared it might not work out or you think you don't know enough or maybe you are just scared to do it or you think doing it or not won't change a thing. Why can't you adapt to “I'm still learning and will keep trying" with time you see yourself developing a positive mindset, when you fail you get up and keep trying again until you achieve what you aim for.

Instead of saying “ I don't know how" you can adjust to “ I can learn how". It’s common for people to get to a point where they feel stuck, hopeless. It can be as a result from poor decision-making or an inability to make decisions and they tend to give up but they forgot they could actually learn from their previous mistakes

Instead of thinking “this is too hard " why can't you put in more effort and time and see yourself improving then you will discover “ with more practice, it will get easier"

Most times people use this idea of “ this is too hard" as an excuse because they never had the time for practicing and they never had a planned schedule for for practicing.

Instead of thinking “ they are better at it than I am" ignoring the fact that they practice a lot or do more research and study than you. And you also forgot the fact that we all have distinct abilities, potentials and qualities, traits.... no one is like other person you can only try to be like them, we all are different. The things you could do, some might be better at it and some can't do it, then why can't you start thinking like this “ what can I learn from them" and before you know you will start getting better.

From one of my favorite quotes "Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes you're ahead, sometimes you're behind. The race is long, and in the end, it's only with yourself". You don't know what the other person is going through just learn from them and that's all.

And finally instead of thinking “ I can't make this any better, I give up" why can't you start thinking this way “ I can always find ways to improve, I will will try a different way"

If we adjust to this type of positive mindset, we would see ourselves efficiently coping with every situations rather than dwelling on the negative sides.
