Why Genshin Impact is slowly dying

The game Genshin Impact became a very big hit on its release date. Its a role playing game with a gacha system to get new weapons and characters. Upto the latest version which is version 1.3 it already got some pretty amazing content starting from Monstdat to Liyue. There are a lot of boss you can fight using 4 characters in a party that you form with the characters from the gacha.

The game is slowly dying because of a few reasons. here are some of the reasons why.

no1. Resin

In genshin impact you need resin. it serves as some sort of item for exchange for ley lines or jist to get rewards for defeating a boss or domains (dungeon like places). A player would have 160 resin. Being a player around level 10 or even 20 resin might not be not that much of a deal but when you reach levels like 35 or 40 and above youll understand the importance of resin. its because resin is needed to get ascension materials for your characters and weapons and even good artifacts. Every boss like the hypostases or regisvines need 40 resin to get the rewards. Ley lines require 20 samw as domains. Some characters need atleast 8 of a specific material to ascend but to get 8 you'll need to atleast fight a boss around 3 to 4 times. its because the materials you get is only 2 to 3 of that specific material per fight. imagine if you have to ascend 4 different characters at the samw time who needs to use different materials from each boss. youll need about 160 reain to be sure to get atleast 8 of that ascecion material. BUT the problem here is not the reain itself but the regeneration time for it. I mean you only get 7.5 resin per hour. if you need 160 resin itll take you atleast a day to fully recharge your resin.

no2. The gacha system

this is one of the most hated parts of the game for most of those who play. its because you need 160 primogems per pull in the gacha. to be sure that you will get a 5 star character/weapon you need atleast 75 pulls to be sure that you can get a 5 star. to get primogems its either you can buy them or get them from your game. but its really hard to get primigems enough for a wish. you can get atleast 60 primogems just by doing the daily commissions. if youre not done with the world quest yet you might think that its easy to get the primogems. but when you hit Level 40 or 45 where there is literally almost no quest that will give primigems. What im saying is that to atleast get 1 wish for the game youll need to log in the game and do daily commission for atleast 3 days. but heres one more thing that is kind of annoying , its that a new character only appears in his banner for about 2 weeks. so imagine if you need 3 days to get 1 pull fron the gacha, just how many pulls can you do in 2 weeks. not enough to get to the pity of 75. yes you can get primo gems from the chest you find but the highest you can get is 10 and that kind of chest are limited. and the most common chest in the game usually contains 2 and sometimes it doesnt have any.

no3.lack of content

this is just short. it because the game as of bow doesnt have any new things to offer once you reach levels 40 to 60(max level). if you play the game without using real money itll be pretty hard for you to reach these levels and youll have less things to do.

The problem with Gacha games (or their players) is that you need to not be a completionist to enjoy them. As long as you're not a completely free player, and not a completionist but somewhere in the middle, you'll enjoy the game for a good while...

I didn't play Genshin Impact yet, I'm waiting for the Switch version (after playing it on PS4 for a few hours, my PS4 time is limited,) so what I said my change, but I played enough Gacha games to be bases for my opinion.
