Hey Travelers!!
Hoping that all of you are living great adventures with Paimon! It's been 12 days since our trip started and for now, you should know already lots of things of Teyvat, don't you?
But don't worry, if you are a little lost yet, let's review the facilities that you can find in the wind and calm city of Mondstadt!!
Located in the northeast of the great land of Teyvat, Mondstadt is well known because of the freedom of their villagers and the peacefull landscape that surrounds the city: large green hills and the Cider lake accompany the city to make it a quiet place of spiritual retreat.
But hey! Don't fool yourself! If you walk in the streets of that city you will find bustling taverns, souvenir shops and a beautiful cathedral crowning the top of the city.
Here we are going to talk about what can be found in the village:
City map
Blacksmith
You can talk with Wagner, the blacksmith of the city. He always seems a bit angry but sure he will tell you some advices to improve your gathering and crafting skills.
You can ask him for ores placements, and he will tell you kindly where you can get some ores to collect.
Then you can craft some items and also buy some tier-2 weapons from his shop (I personally recommend buying them all everyday: they aren't expensive and will serve you for getting more exp for enhancing your weapons!).
It's important to say that you can craft 4-tier weapons here but you will need a prototype of the weapon for being able to create it, and also a great ammount of blue crystals (one of the most valuable minerals in Teyvat).
You should also know that you can select the support character that will make the crafting, and some of them have special bonuses!
Adventurer's Guild
One of the most important buildings in the city. Here you can do many things related with your adventures and your trip:
First of all, you can take the rewards for completing the daily comissions, which mostly consist in primogems ( normally they give you 20), and some ascending materials that will be useful later in the game.
Appart from that, you can claim your AR rewards when you reach a certain level. There are a wide variety of prizes that you can get only for playing and getting AR exp points (opening chests, achieving quests, defeating bosses...). And, as you know, it's important to raise the AR level for getting the high end content of the game, as well as increasing your world lvl for getting more powerfull mobs and stuff/materials from defeating them.
The last thing that you can unlock with the adventurer's guild are the expeditions. In here, you can send some of your characters in a trip for many hours in order to get some materials. It's completely free and the only condition is that you won't be able to use that character in these hours. However, feel free to cancell the expedition at any moment if you need that certain character, the only penalty that you will get is that you will loose all the loot. The more hours that someone is in the trip, better materials you can get.
The souvenir shop
Marjorie has a very interesting shop in the city of Mondstadt: the souvenir shop. In here, you don't use moras for paying the products. There is a special currency that you can get from exploring the region of Mondstadt (as always, opening chests, defeating monsters, mapping the land, etc). She usually says that her main aim is to decorate her room with that anemo sigils.
The fact is that in her shop you can buy some of the basic ascension materials for your characters or your weapons. You can also get them from dominions or bosses, but an easy way to get 1 or 2 materials for each type is buying them to Marjorie.
Mondstadt restaurant
If you wanna relax a bit from your adventure and take a good cup of tea with Lisa, you can get your rest in this place:
You can buy some prepared dishes for having them at the moment or for taking away and eat them before fighting with the Anemo Hypostasis or heading to the sword cemetery.
And don't forget to buy the recipes that they offer in order to prepare Mondstadt typical dishes in your field trips!
Next to the restaurant, you have also a frying pan for cooking some stuff for your adventure.
Mondstadt general goods grocery
Blanche is the shopkeeper of Mondstadt grocery. As you imagine, here you can buy some of the basic items or materials for cooking or crafting useful stuff for your voyage.
Please remember that some of the materials are exclusive from this shop, so you can only buy them at the grocery of Mondstadt or Liyue (for example, salt and pepper).
Alchemy stand
Timaeus is one of the alchemist of the city. He will inform you how the alchemy stand works. He also mentions Sucrose, probably one of the new anemo characters that will come in the future.
Here you are part of the craftable items with the stand. From potions to tier 2-3 ascension materials, you can create so many things here if you have the adequate materials!
Please remember that with some characters you can get a bonus, for example, Lisa works very well with potion crafting.
And that's it!
You can also find the headquarters of the knights of Favonius (Jean's office and Lisa's library) or a good tavern for taking some wines, as well as the chatedral of Mondstadt, and you will visit all these places with the main story quests, so don't worry that you won't miss any place in Mondstadt!!
