Bad company 😂😂 when I remember this I do recall my days back in secondary school. Gone are those days.
My grandma once told me a story and she started like this
One day a farmer grabbed his shot gun to shoot a flock of peaky crows. Unfortunately, he didn't see his sociable parrot that had joined the crows. After firing a few shots, he walked over to the fallen birds and was surprised to find his parrot badly injured with a broken wing and leg. When the farmer's children saw the injured bird, they asked, “Dad, what happened?" The farmer simply replied, “BAD COMPANY".
Scripture warns “be not deceived, evil communication corrupts good manners".(1 Corinthians 15:33).
Regardless of the age or spiritual strength,over time, choices in friendship or relationship in life eventually affect a man's life. There are people who should have turned out great in life, but their life was drastically changed for being in wrong or bad company.
As we all know Satan is an unrelenting enemy. His mission is to steal kill and destroy. He hunts man down and creates a web of wrong company and bad association.
God has commanded us to run away from from people whose goal is to distract us. Bad company has never profited anyone rather destroyed many.
2 Corinthians 6:17 Therefore, “Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”
Dou have a dream of a great future? Do you hope for better future? Do you have hope of better tomorrow despite your present struggles? Then avoid bad company.
