What do jinns look like? What forms can it take?

Allah Almighty has created not only the human race on earth, but also the jinn race along with the human race. Al-Qur'an, the holiest book of Islam, mentions the jinn more than once, and even reveals a complete surah about it.

According to Islam, jinn are made of fire. They have some special powers which Allah did not give to the best living beings.

The jinn see the people, but the people do not see the jinn until they appear on their own. They live like human beings. They also have families and children.

Research has shown that there are different types of genes. According to this type, they can have different functions and forms. The following is a description of the 10 types of jinn mentioned in Islam:

1. Hin

Hin is a species of gin that looks a lot like an animal. They usually walk around in the guise of dogs. The Muslim philosopher Zakaria ibn Muhammad al-Qazwani, in his book The Book of Jinn, claims that he has seen many times in Saudi Arabia, Persia and India.

2. Gaul

Gaul is a special species. In addition to changing their appearance, they eat human flesh and drink blood. They mainly target travelers and children. They also steal human bodies from graves. Various books have said that the Gauls are the most deadly species among the Jinn race. Among them, female gauls can take human form. They prey on men in the form of ordinary women.

According to various Persian books, gauls actually have donkey-like legs and goat-like horns.

3. Jane

The Jains live mainly in desert areas. They usually move around in whirlwind or white camel costumes.

Gauls have an extreme enmity with the Jains. They are friendly to people. It is also said that the Jains were the first of the jinn to meet mankind

4. Marid

Marids are the most powerful species of jinn. Its existence has been known in various Arab folklore since pre-Islamic times.

In Arabic, the word 'marid' means - monster. They are called by this name because of their vast shape and strength. They do everything as they please. However, despite the fact that they are very strong and huge in size, they can be subdued to do various things.
