Unhappy Still

I don’t need anyone to make me happy,

I really dont,

yet on my happiest days

I miss you the most

not that I yearn for your sweet embrace

and gentle touch

but because all my happiest days

are put to waste

for I have no one to share

the joy with, the achievements,

truly I am happy, but the ghost of loneliness haunts me to death
