The man's name is Khalilullah. His identity is that he is a cannibal. He likes to eat dead people. After two weeks, if he does not eat human flesh, his whole body and mind becomes completely disoriented. His liver and oil are his great favorites.
He doesn't remember exactly when he started eating the flesh of dead people. However, he started eating the flesh of dead people with the help of his childhood friend Ravi Dom. Robi Dome's father was the first Dome of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. He caressed Robi's father Khalilullah and his son to eat the flesh of the first dead man. Eating human flesh as a hobby once turned into a terrible addiction. If they could not eat meat, they would become like crazy.
At one point, Robbie Dome stopped eating meat. But Khalilullah could not give it up. He used to rush to Dhaka Medical College and Mitford Hospital for human flesh. There, Gopal Dom and Sona Dom used to let him eat the flesh of dead people.
Khalilullah had a terrible intoxication besides eating meat. He used to steal shroud clothes. He used to dig graves from different cemeteries in Dhaka and sell them in old cloth shops near Moulvibazar. Then he used to buy normal food with the money from selling clothes.
When the first report on this horrific cannibal was published in a newspaper on April 3, 1975, the world trembled with horror. A strange tension spread around. And the authorities were shaken. The next time Khalilullah came to the morgue intoxicated with human flesh, the hospital staff grabbed him. He was then produced in the room of the then caretaker of the hospital, Colonel ML Rahman. Colonel Saheb then quickly called the principal of the college. MA Jalil, Professor of Psychiatry. Samad and a few other psychiatrists. They came out to question Khalilullah about his history of being a carnivore. Everyone is thrilled to hear that.
The shocked authorities brought him raw chicken meat from the kitchen of the hospital for immediate examination. And to the surprise of everyone present, he almost immediately chewed the raw chicken meat and ate it.
The hospital authorities immediately took a decision. Khalilullah can no longer be kept in public. Maybe he can jump on living people if he gets a chance.
The police were called in fear of this. Police arrested Khalilullah and took him to Ramna police station. Then the police interrogation started again. The meat-eater shocked the police too. He declared loudly: "He eats human flesh and will continue to do so in the future."
After the announcement that Khalilullah is a complex mental patient, the police became convinced. Then he was sent to Pabna for treatment.
He returned to normal life after recovering from the terrible insanity of Pabna treatment. He was often seen in the graveyard of Azimpur.
No one would give him work or shelter because he was called heart eater. Many have also been physically injured. They have given a lot of insults. So he chose the cemetery as his only means of survival. Not in greed for the flesh of dead people, just to keep oneself away from society, in search of a little happiness and peace.
However, he did not spend his last years happily. He and his family had to endure various humiliations. Before his death, his life became miserable. This terrible man died without any treatment after suffering from various diseases for several years. His son could not get treatment for his father due to lack of money. Then one day in 2005 he came to Bharadupura with water in his mouth and died with swelling of his hands and feet. And that's how the story of a horrible cannibal in the seventies ended.
