Being a Role Model

1. Good role models and disciplinarians in  their fields are worthy of respect. you must have heard of the saying "a good leader leads by example" this is solely true. It would be unfit for one as a leader not to be specialised in his field. for example the owner of a catering agency is expected to be specialised in that field, same goes for a publishing agency, a photography studio, a music school etc.

2. you must be versatile and responsible. When a leader is enlightened it paves way for growth and avoids overthrow from position. For example if i am a Vocal coach i should not be  only about music, i should also know a thing or two about other related fields like dancing, acting, playing an instrument. if i am a caterer I should know about recipes from other parts of the world not only locally made dishes.

3. Be clear about your roles and expectations
There should be a goal of every establishment and ways to go about that goal should be conveyed to those being led. rules should be established for all to adhere to.

5. Leave room for input.
As a leader you can't shoulder all the responsibilities alone, divide tasks to those efficient to ease the workload and always welcome new ideas

6. Reward your employee or student for good behaviour, it encourages the others.Having a favourite pupil or member always causes segregation do your best to avoid that and treat all equally. this would foster peace and unity.

7.  Be liked, your attitude and appearance should be appealing. when ones appearance is appealing it will make others take you seriously and look up to you. emulate good habits and this will in turn affect those you lead positively.

8. Give room for opinions and black and white meetings. A black and white meeting is a meeting where every one is frank and sincere, they talk about issues they are not ok with in an organisation with fear or prejudice .
