Welcome newbies, this is read.cash. you probably have seen some articles with great numbers of subscribers and upvote, and you want to quickly get onboard, get a hundreds of subscribers in a day and make a pay out of hundreds of dollars as soon as possible. Before you do that try to read the information on this article so you won't get frustrated soon.

There are three big mistakes newbies usually make here on read cash, that often results to low points, freezing points and zero points. If you are experiencing these, though you are an old user, you need to read this to the end.

THE THREE BIG MISTAKES

1. Making spam comments

Most newbies fall cheap to making of spam comments, thinking is the numbers of comments they make a day that quaratee good earning. They act as though they are on Facebook and other centralized social media platforms where you go to your friends post, make a single comment repeatedly everywhere. read.cash is not Facebook but a decentralized social blogging platform. Comments such as "Nice", "Good one", "great post" and the likes are not allowed here. These are considered as spam, and get you very bad experience here. The read.cash system may not ban you for this, but people will soon abandoned you and your articles. You will not get any single comment on your article.

Some old users also fall into this trap of spam comments issue. Any comments you make that deviate from the subject of the article you are commenting on is considered as a spam by the read.cash spam detector. This is the reason why you are having fleezed points, stagnant points or even zero points.

2. Copy-Paste

This is the biggest mistakes newbies are making here. And I think the reason for this, is lack of proper orientation about read.cash before signing up. Any article you copy and paste here will not get you any points. It's like a waste of time and resources to continue doing that. Except something has changed on the read.cash system, no copy paste article earn you points. You can't just copy someone's original work from the internet and paste it here on read.cash. it's all a waste of time.

I have seen a user here whose profile has no single EXC badge on his articles. I have tried to correct him but he wouldn't take my word, so I have to blog him. You can't just be copying articles from the internet and pasting to read.cash and expect people to follow you. No one comment on an article that has no EXC badge.

You can quote some lines, but you must mention it in your article with source link. You must provide proper attribution to make it right.

3. Begging for subscribers and Upvote

This is an inadequate thing that some newbies do on read.cash. You can't just go to right thinking author and start begging for subscription and upvote. That's look insane, only newbies like you would subscribe you because you are birds of same feather. You need to be patient about getting subscribers. Let your work gain you subscribers who will actually follow you.

If you are the type who beg for upvote, you better stop it. People love to upvote original and quality contents. Take your time to create what people will love, certainly upvote will come.

Learn to avoid the above enumerated mistakes and you will never experienced any dull moment on read.cash.

Good luck.

Do you get notified when you article got EXC badge too? This means that you can have it even as newbie?

These are good guidance to avoid next time.

Exc badge have been removed from the site. No one has it anymore, the article was writing in the early days of read.cash.

I see, then we should be writing responsibly as there is no more labelling. Thanks!

It's definitely not a mistake, hal the time it's just a choice they make now. Probably because that's what they were taught to do by the one that invited them

To make it polite let leave it as mistakes so those who comes in here and see this would learn how to behave here. You know a lot think this platform is like those news reading site where they make all sorts of comments on a post they never read.

But then too much politeness won't actually get some points across. I understand that viewpoint though. But on their side, it's definitely a very bad orientation process if they came to think of this platform in that light

You know where the problem begin, just by opening read.cash home page and seeing articles of top authors here with large numbers of subscribers and huge amount of upvote makes them feel is just as easy as putting a dot on an "I" and crossing a "t" to get that numbers of subscribers and huge upvote. As soon as they start and found out that within a week or so no one view, read nor comment on their articles they soon became desperate and result to begging for subscription and upvote.

It's not just the desperation though. Some just honestly lose hope and leave but then some simply persevered. The rest, i would say, relied on cheats. It's not the front page and boosted articles at fault. I mean, those authors have been here for so long. What would you expect by the time a newbie sees. What's bad is if they solely rely on those cheats instead of trying to learn how to adapt as most users did

What's bad is if they solely rely on those cheats instead of trying to learn how to adapt as most users did

This is it, not many have the patience to learn how to work here, they simply don't have the time to read and learn from it. If they do, almost all the questions a newbie would ask has already been answered in many articles here. But they would not read to know what to do to be successful here. I tell you the truth my friend, if you go to the read.cash community, you will see a lot of useless questions frying everywhere from newbies. Though the answers to those questions are right before them. I have been trying to guide most newbies here in the read.cash community, but some would think am proving too know and would instead warn me to stop commenting on their baseless article. One of such user reported me to hello@read.cash only to be told that I was only helping her. She later reply on my comment to apologise.

Thus why i never check that community unless it would be of a new announcement (which is honestly rare now) because the irrelevant and super repetitive questions makes you question why they don't just search for articles related to that

In my own opinion, I think it is not called a mistake if they keep doing it more than once. They probably know that these 3 mistakes are prohibited on these site. So they should abide with the rules and regulations within the platform. Some of the newbies or even old users are violating the rules. And they have the audacity to complain why they have such low points. But thank you so much for pointing these mistakes out. I hope these spammers will be able to read it and get their actions right. :)

It's so annoying to see newbies making these mistakes always. I believe the only way to help them is to provide a guide such as this. Anyone who read this will be guided not to repeat the mistakes of others.
