I don't have the energy to write tonight, so let's call it a day
We've all been there before, when we just can't seem to muster up the energy to do what we need to do. Whether it's working out, writing that paper or blog post, or doing the dishes, we've all had those moments where we just want to give up and call it a day.
But what if we didn't give in to those moments? What if we pushed through and got the job done, even when we didn't feel like it?
There's something to be said for not giving up, even when we don't feel like it. When we push through those tough moments, we end up being stronger for it. So next time you're feeling like you can't do it, think about what you'll gain by pushing through and getting the job done.
When you push through and get the job done, you feel better mentally, as well as physically.
As humans, we don't really do well when we can't get things done. We live in a society that gives us a time limit. In a world that calls us to perform under pressure, we often feel overwhelmed and unable to finish anything.
But we can't give up. We have to push through those times and we need to train ourselves to do it.
According to psychologytoday.com, this means scheduling time for work and everything else. When you're tired, you feel stressed and anxious, making you not want to do anything. By scheduling time for other things, you can free up time for the important things, like work and school, and stop worrying about being able to get it done.
When we have time freed up, we can also help others. When we're able to finish things, we feel better and better as the day goes on.
Even if we don't feel like it, we have to push through and get the job done, because it's the right thing to do.
We can all benefit from making time to take care of ourselves, because we need to live long enough to enjoy all the things we want to do. If we're not living up to our full potential, it's because we're doing too much for ourselves and not enough for others.
So next time you don't feel like getting anything done, remember to get the job done, even if it means doing it in the middle of the night.
Don't give in to those tough times. You'll be better for it.
I'm finding it hard to focus tonight and my energy levels are low, so I'm going to call it a day. I know that I need to keep up with my blog, but some nights are just harder than others. I hope that my readers will understand and forgive me for this short post. I promise to make up for it with a longer, more thoughtful post tomorrow.
Goodnight from Nigeria!
There are times that we feel tired because of our work, and other things that we did during day time.
