A comprehensive guide on how to use the Benswap bridge
There has been considerable difficulty getting into and out of the smartBCH chain since Coinflex closed up the only functional decentralized bridge. Despite the options of several cross-chain bridges, many users of smartBCH still find it challenging to use them due to the complexity involved in using those options. However, users of smartBCH can now easily transfer money into and out of the chain thanks to the release of the Benswap bridge.
What is Benswap cross-chain bridge?

Benswap bridge is a newly released bridge that connects two EVM chains, and a direct link to two Decentralized exchanges managed by the same creator of the bridge. The bridge is a product of the Benswap Dex team on the smartBCH chain, who also manage the Benswap finance Dex on the Binance smart chain.
The two Dex makes it easier to use the bridge for seamless swapping and moving of assets across the two chains: smartBCH and BSC.
How to use the Benswap cross-chain bridge
Using the Benswap bridge is simple. In this article, I will be describing the process of bringing and swapping assets between the two exchanges in a step-by-step guide. I have used my funds to try the bridge, and find it very convenient than others I have used.
Preliminary requirements
1. Ensure you have both the smartBCH chain network RPC and the Binance smart chain network RPC added to your Metamask dapp browser. You need one wallet for both networks, and setting up this is rather simple.
For the smartBCH chain, add the RPC:
Network name: Smart Bitcoin Cash
New RPC URL: https://global.uat.cash
mainnet Chain ID: 10000
Currency Symbol: BCH
Block Explorer URL: https://www.smartscan.cash/
For Binance smart chain, add the RPC:
Network Name: Smart Chain
New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
ChainID: 56
Symbol: BNB
Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com
2. Fund your BSC wallet with some BNB for gas fees. You can get BNB easily on Benswap.finance on Binance smart chain. $1 BNB is enough.
3. Switch your wallet browser network to smartBCH, and go to Benswap.cash to swap sBCH to any of the cross-chain tokens of your choice. For convenience's sake, bbBCH, Eben, and bbBUSD are preferable.
The screenshots below show the process of a successful swap.
A. Click on connect wallet for the Dex to capture the assets in your wallet.
B. Click on the three vertical lines at the top left corner of the page for the drop-down menu and click on trade. Click on exchange from the options to go to the swapping page.
C. On the swapping page, click on the token menu to select the token option you want to bridge out with. You can choose between bbBCH, Eben, and bbBUSD.
Once you have completed the swap, you are now ready to bridge your token out.
Bridging out from smartBCH to Binance smart chain.
1. On Benswap Dex, click on the drop-down menu and click on tools. Then select bridge and load it.
2. Click on Connect your wallet and sign the approval in your wallet.
3. Select the bridge direction. In this case, select smartBCH to Binance smart chain.
4. Click on the token menu and select the token you are bringing out.
5. Type the amount of the token you want to bridge out. You can use the Max button if you are bringing out the whole token amount.
6. Click on the approved token to give permission to the bridge to access your wallet. This is done if you are using the bridge for the first time.
7. After successfully approving the permission, click on the transfer button. You will receive a prompt from your wallet to confirm the transaction fees.
8. Once the swap is completed, click on the switch to Binance smart chain button and confirm the switch.
9. On the Binance smart chain, click on the claim and confirm the transaction from your wallet prompt. Your bringing is now completed. You will see your token in your BSC wallet if you have imported the contract address before the bridging process.
Manual claim
There's a manual claim option on the bridge. This function allowed you to claim your bridge tokens at a later time in case there was a problem or delay during the bridging process.
To use the manual claim, you must have copied the transaction hash after the bridging from smartBCH in our example above. When you want to make the claim, follow the process below:
A. switch to Binance smart chain, and load the bridge again.
B. Click on the manual claim and paste the transaction hash in the appropriate place.
C. Select the token to claim from the token menu.
D. Click on the claim and confirm the transaction. You have successfully claimed your token.
If you bridge out using Eben or BUSD, you may want to swap back to BCH or USDT. To do that, simply go to the Benswap.finance Dex on the Binance smart chain. Follow the same process you used to swap sBCH to the bridge token, and swap your token to BCH.
Connect your wallet, click on the drop-down menu, click on trade and select Benswap Dex as shown in the screenshot below:
Next, on the Dex, click on trade and select exchange. Select you token and the pair you want to swap to. In the example below, I selected Eben/USDT pair.
After approving the token, complete the swap and confirm the transaction in your wallet. You will have your USDT in your wallet.
The process explained above may seem long, but in practice, it doesn't take up to 5 minutes to complete the whole process. The Benswap bridge is very reliable, efficient, and fast in processing transactions.
Furthermore, you can track the bridge information on the bridge telegram channel from the link below.
Congratulations 🎉 and Thankyou!! I have funds that I was lost about bridging but thanks to the smartBCH community Aswelll as BenSwap Finance for being a pioneer in the Short Life Of SmartBCH sidechain thankyou for always sticking through the storms
