Don’t be so sad, something ends today. But now is the first day of your next life.” - Tokyo

One thing that I’m sure of about Money Heist is that this series is not just about Heist it’s about “LOVE” there is always love in this series from session 1 to the end of it, there is love. The director and executive producer Jesús Colmenar said love in Money Heist is a classic staff “Love in impossible settings. Love at impossible moments.” From session 1 of this series, they form the love that has no limit. The love of Stockholm to Denver to be the non-biological father of Cincinnati.

The love of Nairobi to her son Axel, and the love of courage to her friend Helsinki and Bogota. The precious love of Professor to Lisbon even they are in a different world still they make a bridge to be lovers. The priceless love of Tokyo to Rio, they will do anything for each other even they are like two people on a seesaw, when one goes up the other goes down. It shows this illustration or metaphor wherein Rio was detained and brutally interrogated in small prison far away, while Tokyo was in a bank heist with the gang.

Moreover in session 5 love is unconditional if you notice the plan of Paris wherein Paris is a City of Love and Freedom. The new character Manila is also a trans woman and Palermo is gay it means that they let there self to love whatever their gender identity is because there is no gender in love. Love is contiguous. Also, love brings you pain like what Stockholm did to Arturo she pull the trigger that leads to the life and death situation of Arturo. We know that love will always win, right? but in the scene of Tokyo wherein, she is the only one who left/ stayed in the kitchen to fight the Gandia's group. But like everyone else, we are born in this world and we will die in this world. Like what happened to Tokyo in the end scene on Session 5 Episode 5 of Volume 1, Yes she died.

“When someone is in love, they look through rose-tinted glasses, everything wonderful they transform into a soft teddy bear that smiling all the time” - Professor/ Sergio

“In the end, love is a good reason for everything to fall apart." - Tokyo

Regarding Tokyo’s death, Yes she died the director and executive producer said it in the series of "Money Heist From Tokyo to Berlin" the series are behind the scene in pre-production, production, and post-production. And if you are still believing that Tokyo is still alive no she’s not, regarding the theory of “She is the Narrator” yes she narrates those scene but the writer of the series make Tokyo as an unreliable narrator because the series written in a viewpoint narrative.

Viewpoint narrative is designed to express the points of view or subjective personal experience of the main character or other fictional characters in the story. In viewpoint narrative writing, moods, feelings, and other sensory details are filtered through the narrator’s own life and subjective point of view. This narrative style often takes the form of first-person narration or third-person omniscient narration, in which the omniscient narrator switches between the POVs and private thoughts of multiple central characters. This type of narrative allows for the possibility of an unreliable narrator, in which the person telling the story presents information subjectively and in an untrustworthy manner. The unreliable narrator is either deliberately deceptive (e.g. a noted liar or trickster) or unintentionally misguided. Masterclass Staff (2020) 4 Types of Narrative Writing.

The question is Tokyo can be a narrator until the end? Yes, she can still narrate even she is dead. And like Nairobi there are some parts or scenes in volume 2 that Tokyo will appear. Tokyo’s life reminds us that sacrifice is always be for the greater good of other. Regarding Alicia's theory to be part of the gang no she will never be part of the gang if you notice the scene wherein Lisbon asked Alicia regarding the name of her daughter, Alicia named her Victoria because she will be victorious, “she will”. In the second line, Alicia didn’t say it to describe her daughter the word “SHE” is referring to herself. She will be victorious meaning Alicia has no plan to joining the gang instead she wants to be back as an Inspector but still this is just my theory.

"Sometimes, truce is the most important part of a war" - Professor

This way of writing in this series is very genius because it let the viewers hang on for the next volume of it. I love this Money Heist series because it takes me to their universe and brings courage and passion to me to continue to write.
