Spam It a very painful thing that people spam others for no just cause What better answer would you give to someone that tells you **thank you** than to reply with courtesy **you are welcome.** Using the spam button just any how will make people have no reason to write in this plat form. The act of spamming is a bad one and should be stopped and also plagiarism. It is a very painful thing and annoying when you see your post that you spent hours and even sleepless night writing been published by another person and receiving the credit for a JOB not done. I am writing this post from my heart that is bettered by the act of indiscriminately marking people as spam and also plagiarism by some people. LET US TRY TO TRY. Stop! Stop!! Stop!!! The

Love on social media In this times, the wave of social media is every where. The entire world, the youths especially, is being diverted from focusing on the essence of life, worshiping Allah (SWT) at all times. There are some youths who select their partners on the Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Instagram etc. Their faith in such selection is unwavering. How did they meet each other? Could it be by mere chatting? What do they know of each other? Could it be through posted pictures and other unprintable words? How did they really fall in love with each other? Could it be by mere sighting the person’s photograph? How do they make the proposal? Could it by mere chatting and sending words of proposal and acceptance? Or do they agree to meet each other and seal the deal? If you want a man who will hug you amorously without respect for your moral dignity; if you want a guy who will cuddle you like a chick without concern for your womanhood; if you want a man who will pin you to any corner like a glue in the name of love without regard for your virginity; if you want a man who will without meeting you date and have no value for your humanity; then the Facebook and other social media platforms could be an avenue for that kind of adventure. Which one do you think is better - a lover you met casually, or a lover you met on the road, or a lover you met at a party, or a lover you met on social media, or a lover you met at the mosque? If you are a Facebook lover, there are some questions which bother on reasonability. Are you really intelligent to have fallen in love with a person you met on Facebook? You definitely lack a true judgment power! How could a decent girl start to exchange addresses and other personal information with a man she has never met before? How could she believe in the posted pictures or mails? Why would she fix an appointment with such a person or agree to meet him at an appointed place? What kind of love is that? Those who even date or get married to spouses they are well acquainted with still face some challenges, not to talk of the unknown! Our teenagers or young undergraduates are at the crossroads. They want to belong to their generation where laxity and blind imitation is the norm. They are seemingly unfortunate or should I say unlucky to have been born into a generation of speed in all ramifications. This same speed they want to apply to marriage. They contrive ideas of love. They hunt the lover of their choices wherever they may be. The parents are kept in the dark. They never know what is going on until the deal has been almost irreversibly sealed! What a disaster.

In your Sleep Every sleep marks a temporary end of our lives. we may never wake up again. whatever we left unfinished remains where it is. while you sleep you transit to a different world. We should watch the things we do before sleep. what are those things you do before sleep? Do you keep pressing phone or watching films till you sleep off?Do you engage in vain talks before sleep?Do you engage in quarrels before sleep?Do you engage in masturbation or fornication before sleep?Or you send unlawful love messages before sleep? What exactly do you do before sleep?Would you love to be raised on judgement day with your state of action, utterance or thought before sleep? If your faith in Allah is deep-rooted you will even fear to sleep. Purify your thought before sleep as you may never wake to renew the thought in your mind. As you are now about to sleep, you should recite portions of the Qur'an, think of death & life in the grave and you may do any remembrance.

The you that you are You will never enhance your life until you change something you do daily; the secret of your success is found in your daily routine. To change your life, you need to change your priorities; small disciplines repeated with consistency is the key! You must be matured enough to admit your mistakes, smart enough to profit from them and strong enough to correct them! It's time to break out of your shell! Push yourself until you get there! Wake up! No one else "makes you angry". You make yourself angry when you surrender control of your attitude; take total responsibility of your attitude. Life is only 10% of what happens to you and 90% of how you react to it! Stop throwing blames - grow up! You have to fight back and beat the odds; you've got to take your stand because nothing is stronger than you, not a single problem of yours! Life is so much brighter when you focus on what truly matters! Wanting something is not enough; you must hunger for it; your motivation must be absolutely compelling in order to overcome the obstacles that will invariably come your way; if you are tired of starting over, stop giving up! You can do it! Your life begins to end the day you become silent about things that matter; don't be afraid to stand for what you believe; for if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything. Be a voice, not an echo! Listen, put up a fight; don't put the key to your happiness in someone else's pocket. Stop trying to fit in, when you were born to stand out! Have a fulfilled day!!

Mirror Image of life "Everything you do in life springs forth from your concept of life and value for it. It is like a marketplace where you buy and sell good and bad deeds. It is like a trip where you alight at your destination. It is like a candle which burns your time momentarily. It is like history which is continuously told. It is like a race with a finish line. It is like a play where each person acts its part. It is like the sun which rises and sets. It is a life where nobody wants to die; yet we sleep and wake up. We travel by road and see or hear of accidents. We fly in the air and hear of air crashes. We hear of others who travel by water and their ship capsizes. Further still, we momentarily see other creatures die around us, yet we feel it can’t be our turn now until we are old and have achieved all or most that we desire in life! We go about our businesses, procrastinating when we ought to do some good deeds or stop some bad acts!"

Child and discipline part 1 Child Discipline is providing a child the needed guidance and support he requires concerning an acceptable standard of behaviour. It is training a child to behave in an acceptable way as modeled by the authority figures around him or her. THE GOALS OF DISCIPLINE 1. To help the child develop the capacity of self regulation 2.To help the child develop a healthy self image/esteem 3. To produce an adult who can behave in a socially, mentally and emotionally responsible manner FACTORS TO CONSIDER BEFORE YOU DISCIPLINE A CHILD. 1. UNDERSTAND YOUR PARENTING STYLE For your discipline strategies to be effective you need to understand your own parenting/teaching style Every parent and teacher has a way of managing/parenting/teaching their children. You need to understand this style very well and adapt it to the child you are dealing with You are the one who is expected to adapt your parenting/teaching style to the child and not the other way around. Your parenting style may also need to be improve upon so you can make maximum impact on the child There are three major parenting styles The three major parenting styles are A. Authoritarian style B. Permissive / Uninvolved style (this can also be separated but they are essentially the same) C. Authoritative style A. Authoritarian style: it is the parenting/ teaching style that focuses on power to force children to comply with rigid rules or instructions whether they like it or not. B. Permissive style / uninvolved style: This style gives children too much of freedom, and few responsibilities. . It does not follow up on rules and disciplines measures. C. Authoritative style: Parents who adopt this style of parenting gives children firm and consistent rules in a kind , loving and favourable atmosphere. The next factor to consider before you discipline a child is his natural composition - his nature, make up or characteristics. What are his temperament, potentials, strengths, weaknesses, tendencies etc The information will help you adopt a discipline strategy that will fit his make up You will also prevent major damage to his emotions or personality as a child Another point as to what to consider before you discipline a child is the child's environment Every child's environment at home, school, neighbourhood even religious environments influence a child's emotional, social and mental development. To influence the child effectively through discipline you will need to note that his character is not just about him but about the influence he is getting from his environment Work on a favourable environment that will guide him along the paths you want him to toe BASIC CHILD DISCIPLINE RULES 1. The form of discipline you adopt should not inflict injury on the child. 2. Self control is needed on the part of the parent/educator. 3. Being firm is one of the major attributes you need to apply effective disciplinary measures with children 4. As much as possible communicate the consequences of a misconducts to a child before you enforce them, and ensure you enforce them if they go against the rules 5. Avoid transfer of aggression on children as much as possible 6. Don't negotiate with your child to obey an instruction through incessant nagging or any other form of manipulation. Communicate your expectations clearly and administer discipline if he deserves it GENERAL CHILD DISCIPLINE STRATEGIES 1. Set rules and limits you expect your child to comply with 2. Be firm about your instructions, rules and expectations 3. Model the behaviour you want to see in your child 4. Enforce discipline measures immediately after misbehaviour, not long after the misbehaviour CHILD DISCIPLINE STRATEGIES THROUGH A THREE FOLD CORD This aspect deals with applying discipline strategies to achieve three basic results in the life of a child that will make them become well - rounded individuals discipline strategies as tools for: shaping children behaviour, building positive self esteem in children and helping them to develop self regulation skills. My family and I 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 *MY FAMILY AND I*🧕🏻 🌱 Oh my dear family, I so much cherish our bond and your company. I always enjoy the good time we have together and wish to always be with you. How I wish we are never separated. 🌱Then I thought of what can make the companionship remain even after this world. It's only if we remain on the path of truth. 🌱 The path that will keep our companionship and gives everlasting bliss. Would you not let us tread the path of salvation? 🌱I call on you and myself to our purpose of creation which is the worship of Allah. The one and only creator of the heavens and the earth. I also implore you and myself to refrain from evil. I fear a day, we will all be held accountable. 🌱A day Allah will question me about my family. For we are all shepherd and will be asked about our flocks. This is a day one will be bored with his own account and will not be ready to be responsible for anyone else, even though they are one's relatives on earth. 🌱A day, that a day old pregnancy will be delivered, for the accountability is individually based. 🌱Oh! my family, I encourage you to totally submit to the injunctions of our Sublime creator, Be good in our actions and to be the best in speech so as to ease our accountability. 🌱Know that one that is best in speech calls to Allah's path with wisdom. Let us fulfil this responsibility Allah has shoulder us with. This is the best of duty to engage in. I can not ransom you from Allah's punishment neither can you? Every soul will reap whatever he sows accordingly. 🌱Be warned against Allah's fire that will be kindled with men and stones. The likes of Allah's fire can not be found on this earth and it is incomparable. 🌱Whoever found it an abode will dwell in it forever. It is an abode that the dweller will be fed on hot water and pus. 🌱 *IS IT NOT TIME FOR US TO SUBMIT OURSELVES TO ALLAH 'S INJUNCTIONS?* 🌱let us resolve now and be determined. There is danger in postponement, for we never know when the owner of the soul will claim it. There is hope when there is life. It is even rather late than never. 🌱Work on your reunion, to the everlasting abode. Let everyone return to total worship of Allah alone and sincere adherence to His injunctions. 🌱 *I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND PRAY FOR OUR SUCCESS IN THIS LIFE AND NEXT.* AAMIN

Don't destroy it " A child needs encouragement like a plant needs water" Rudoff Dreikurs Self esteem is regarding oneself as a worthwhile person. It is a positive evaluation of one's personality, abilities and capabilities that makes one feel important and dignified as a human being. A lot has been written as to how to develop a heathy and high positive self esteem in children. But in this article , I will like to mention some parenting attitudes that contribute to low self esteem in children. 1. Belittling a child: You belittle a child when you make statements that attack who he is - his personality. This is done when you utter foul or abusive words that particularly ridicule or mock a child's part of the body. For examples: "Look at your head like coconut" "Don't you have a brain? You are so dumb." etc This negative attitude demeans the child and dents his self esteem a great deal. Rather than issuing a belittling word, you need to gain control over yourself and reconstruct your words positively. 2. Issuing threatening words: Threats refer to the possible consequences of a child's future actions. Threatening words make children feel uneasy about themselves. Such words are useless in shaping a child's behaviour positively in the long run. As a way of responding to threatening words, children develop the feelings of fear, hatred and resentments for the giver of such words. There are better ways of getting a child to behave properly rather than issuing threatening words. A child's excesses could be curbed with an enforcement of rules and consequeences. He does not need to be threatened before he complies. 3. Bribing a child: This is when a parent or care giver gives a child a particular gift or render a particular service to stop a child from misbehaving in the moment. It is also when a child behaves in a certain for the sake of a reward which he would not have gotten had he not behaved that way. This act removes the child's willingness to perform or behave well from being internally driven to being externally motivated. When a parent and child engage in bribe offering and acceptance, the concept of manipulation may be instilled in the child. The child tends to influence others through the weapon of manipulation. A child that manipulates others cannot have a healthy self esteem - somehow, he will see himself as a crook. 4. Extracting promises from a child: Inducing children to make promises of a better future conducts make them feel guilty unnecessarily for actions they don't really have control over. Children don't have full understanding of what it means or take to keep a promise. When an adult induces a child to keep a promise, he does so just to satisfy the adult. He will forget the promise and breaks it unintentionally - just out of being a child. Extracting promises from children when they don't have the capacity to keep it makes them feel guilty or cynical whenever they break the promise. This effect has a way of undermining their self esteem. 5. Comparing kids: Every child has his or her own unique qualities, strengths, weaknesses, abilities, potentials and timing that make him/her different from others. What they need is sufficient support, encouragement and guidance to cause them to bloom and flourish abundantly in their own particular areas of strengths. When you compare a child to another, you devalue him and make him lose his sense of self worthiness and dignity. It is not enough to know what it takes to build up a child's self esteem. You also need to know what actions to avoid so you don't destroy what you build.

Reinforcement POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT THEORY.... How many times do you sing Stop it, leave it, drop it (and the likes daily)....I'm sure you loose count 😀😁... It's normal when you are a parent to chant that daily rhyme, but it often appear that the child does not understand🙈🙈. Unfortunately it is You and I the parents that needs to understand how to help our child make necessary adjustments. - The human mind is programmed to repeat what it hears and/or sees. Let me break this down: Your child uses a word you are not too comfortable with, : the first time you called her to order calmly.. You heard the child repeat the word then you frowned and while trying to scold the child, you mentioned the word also (unconsciously re-registering the word to your child's mind🙉) Then you heard your child repeat the word (need not her fault though), then you get angry and react your way: flog, yell, threaten etc. Which does not help or guide your child in anyway to make a better choice.. The positive reinforcement theory is simply helping the child out of the problem situation... Simply tell the child repeatedly the right word to replace the wrong word you are frowning at. That way, your child is hearing less of the wrong and More of the right action Not just correction but a proactive measure in Parenting... Expose your child to the type of adult you like them to be, the quality of life you want them to live, the type of mindset you want them to have continuously and tirelessly and without making efforts, they start becoming it. You want to raise a reader: start reading, expose them to readers, movies/shows that celebrate reading Culture, discuss it, let them interact with book junkies, make books available to them endlessly, then prepare to fight your child for reading too much 🤣🤣 😂. Don't fight an habit with nothing (there is no vacuum in life) rather, create a positive replacement and be ready to guide your child through.... Guess what, Positive Reinforcement is a Life Principle you will also find helpful and relevant. Intentional Parenting is demanding, but Highly Fulfilling.

A Mother of Mothers A story is told about a young Thomas Edison who came home one day with a paper for his mother. He told her, “My teacher told me to give this paper only to my mother'' Thomas’ mother read the note and her eyes filled with tears. Thomas asked his mother what the note said, and she read aloud, “Your son is a genius. This school is too small for him and doesn’t have enough good teachers for training him. Please teach him yourself.” And that’s exactly what Thomas’ mother did; she home-schooled her child with devotion and dedication. As the story goes, many years later after Thomas Edison’s mother passed on, and he was now one of the world’s greatest inventors, he found a folded paper among other family items. He opened the very same paper that had been handed to him to give to his mother and read the following message: “Your son is mentally ill. We won’t let him come to school anymore.” At that moment, Edison realised what his mother had done for him so many years ago. He wrote in his diary: “Thomas Alva Edison was an addled child that, by a hero mother, became the genius of the century.” Can you imagine what might have happened to Thomas Edison if his mother had read to him the reckless and hurtful words written by his teacher? He might never have invented the light bulb or made his many other contributions to society. Thank God for the wisdom and wise words of his mother! She created the context in which her son could grow to his full potential. Let’s take this message to heart and resolve to use our words for healing today. You might be a parent, what do you say to your children.... You might be a teacher, what do you say to your student... especially the ones that are not really performing well presently.... What do you say about your parents, family, boss, subordinate, leader, colleague, follower.... Just as hurtful words can cause uncontrolled damage for life, so can wise words positively affect a person for life. May the words you use today change a life for the better. Amen.

However, since we can't change our situation, here are few tips to make the most of this journey and our Parent-child relationship. - Know and understand your self especially your triggers. - LEARN YOUR CHILD..very important - Groom your self to be the right model for your child. - Invest in knowledge to improve you and your Parenting journey. - Know your limits and learn to take a break - Strive to bond and impact your child Positively daily. Do children need explanations and apologies from parents?

F@Fatimahnana

Be a positive influence in Children's Lives subscribe The words you consistently use to describe a child goes a long way to influence his personality and shape his character traits significantly. The choice of words you choose to speak to a child - to describe, rebuke or praise him, influence not just how the child will view himself but also affect how you and other people will treat him over time. When you are able to understand a child's personality and correctly view his behaviour positively, you improve your chances of becoming a positive and major influence in his life. In order to influence children's lives positively, we need to be generous with positive and life building words when dealing with them and be stingy with negative and destructive words. May you succeed in your parenting endeavors.

Just some courage Encourage children to stand up when they fall. They should be made to face challenges and difficulties. Let them take and make some decisions on their own then they will build some courage to do things on their own.

The YOU in YOU Sometimes your inner most mind is best exposed by work and not speech. Be creative as your work tells much about you. Be creative as people who may not have fallen in love with you will fall in love with your work and ultimately fall in live with you Be creative as as our work often times outlive us telling those after us WHO WE WERE, WHAT WE BELIEVED IN AND WHAT WE DID. Express your feelings and emotions through creativity because **CREATIVITY BRINGS OUT THE YOU IN YOU**
