Stand up and confront your challenges
We have to understand that life is not a bed of roses. There are times of ups and downs. Temptations and challenges will come, even Jesus Christ was faced with tribulations.
John 16:33 (NIV)
33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Whenever these temptations come, we should always remember the word of God in John 16:33 and face these challenges. The challenges will continue to be a thorn in your flesh and they will continue to hurt you if you fail to confront them.
1Samuel 17:16 (NLT)
For forty days, twice a day, morning and evening, the Philistine giant strutted in front of the Israelite army.
For forty (40) days, the Philistine giant (Goliath) strutted in front of the Israelite and became a thorn in their flesh because they were unable to confront him. In this life, you will be faced by various challenges that appears to be more than you just like the Israelite were faced with Goliath. You have to brace yourself for different challenges cos as far as you are a living, you will be faced with different challenges.
God has given you special responsibility to confront and move any mountain standing before you.
Matthew 17:20
He replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you
The Israelite were pressured for good forty (40) days until David stood up and confronted Goliath. If anything is depriving you of your joy, peace, blessings, breakthrough, success, Glory and fulfillment in every aspect of life, you have to do something about it under God. Don't just keep looking. The solution to your problems will only come if you confront them with the help of God.
Are you putting any effort to confront the challenges of life?
Remember, until you confront the various issues of life, they will remain a threat to you.
