Iconic Bangabandhu Tritower
Construction work has started in Purbachal of Dhaka.
This will be reflected in the iconic tower under construction by RAJUK
- 52-storey building in memory of the language movement led by Bangabandhu,
- An 81-storey building is being constructed in memory of the great liberation war.
- 97th floor in memory of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's legacy
* The largest 111-storey building in the country will be built with a museum. These three iconic buildings have been jointly named Bangabandhu Tritower.
* The world famous Harim Architect is working as the architect of this historic tower. Harim is one of the top seven in the world and the best architectural institution in Korea.
* The world's most advanced solar glass will be installed across these walls in these eco-friendly buildings. Common duct system will be made for modern waste system, electricity, gas and various utilities. The boundary wall of the green buildings will be built in the style of the Great Wall of China. There will also be eco-friendly electronic buses and an underground walkway for internal travel.
* As an alternative to the Motijheel commercial area of the capital, the Central Business District (CBD) will be on 114 acres of land in the Purbachal New Town project.
* The commercial complex will have 41 skyscrapers, including a 465-meter high 96-storey iconic legacy tower, a 61-storey Liberty Tower and a 52-storey Language Tower.
* There will also be accommodation in the rooms of these buildings with a business of about 36.441 million (3644.10 million) square feet.
* In addition, the height of each of the other 36 skyscrapers will be equal to the 40-storey building. The city will have a large conference center.
* The cost of the project has been estimated at 6 billion dollars or about 60 thousand crore rupees.
* Power Pack of Sikder Group of Bangladesh and a consortium of Kazimar, a well-known Japanese company, have taken the responsibility of implementing this huge project. In addition to Bangladesh-Japan technical assistance, there will be technical assistance from South Korea, China, France and India.
* Powerpack Holdings and Kazima Corporation Consortium have signed a ৌশল 3.8 billion Engineering, Purchase and Construction (EPC) agreement with China Energy's head office in Beijing. The contract value in Bangladeshi currency is 30,600 crore rupees. This is the largest EPC agreement in the history of Bangladesh.
* Purbachal CBD will have open space of 56 acres and additional green area will be 12.50 acres.
* Besides, 20 towers will have office space of 12.99 million square feet and 15 towers will have 3,656 residential units.
* There will be 40,000 car parking facilities in the project area. Numerous small and big buildings will be constructed around it.
* There will be all such institutions in the central business region through which the whole of Bangladesh can be recognized. At present, one has to go to India, China, Singapore or Brazil for a large scale business.
* The business district of CBD will be developed as an iconic one. One of the world's largest business destinations can be found in one border.
* In addition to the construction of Sheikh Hasina International Stadium, International Conference Center, a number of five star seven star hotels will be built in the world.
