I know this is good advice, and I know that everyone wants me to be good, happy, successful and comfortable in my life. But I believe that when you do what you love, you become weaker and succumb to the comfort you think you are enjoying.
For example, I love hiking and restaurants. I can easily scroll through the "newest and most popular" restaurant pages for hours to finally decide where I want to go. Some people browse other sites the same way to find a friend to hang out with and have fun. In fact, I usually save the restaurant pages I like in order to have my dinner there during the weekend.
I like to be the first to visit a new and distinctive place, and I like to eat new meals that I have not tried before. But this hobby that I love is costing me a lot of money and I am forced to feel upset for it because it is not suitable for someone trying to save. I start with anxiety and because of this I do my job much worse.
The result is that hobbies can provide short-term happiness and do not last long, but the damage caused by them, anxiety and tension is permanent, especially if you have become addicted to your hobby and no longer know how to stop in time from eating ready food .. After a short time we lose control of ourselves and the anxiety increases, because when we feel comfortable we lose the motivation to develop ourselves. So I am following a new policy: Do what you hate.
