Thursday was the coldest night in 30 years in Srinagar, Kashmir, India. Yesterday, the temperature was below the freezing point of 7.4 degrees Celsius. The water of the famous Dal Lake has turned to ice.

According to an NDTV report, the minimum temperature in 1991 was below the freezing point of 11.4 degrees Celsius. And in 1995 it was below the freezing point of 11.3 degrees Celsius.
