Bangladesh-India agree to reduce border killings to zero

On Tuesday, Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said Bangladesh and India had agreed to resolve the issue of uniform water sharing and bring border killings to zero. He was speaking at a press briefing at the Foreign Ministry after the meeting of the Sixth Bangladesh-India Joint Consultative Commission (JCC).

The Foreign Minister said that apart from resolving the issue of water sharing of other common rivers, Bangladesh has attached importance to the issue of Teesta water sharing as soon as possible.
