Courtesy is an important element in everyday life, because by showing an attitude of courtesy, a person can be appreciated and liked by his existence as a social being wherever that person is. In social life between humans, of course we have norms and ethics in socializing with other people. In this case, manners can provide many benefits or good influences on oneself and others.

Politeness should be done by anyone and wherever we are in accordance with the needs of the environment, place, and time. Because politeness itself is relative which is considered the norm of courtesy in the home environment, school, campus, association and so on. We do this wherever we are, we will always be respected, appreciated, loved for our existence by others.

In some cases, good manners must be instilled in children from an early age, so that they can get used to being kind when they grow up.

And here are some ways to teach children manners from an early age:

1. Introducing polite words from an early age

This is very important where we as parents must teach polite and kind words to our children, so that they can get used to talking and respecting other people or their interlocutors in their association.

At school there will also be subjects on how to socialize with the community and teach manners to others.

2. Respect and sensitivity

Good behavior will arise from respect for others, and the path to respect is fundamentally sensitive.

If parents can teach children with sensitivity, then you have given them a great gift which is the easy path to good manners. A respectful child will naturally be a well-mannered individual.

The good attitude of being logical to them is not something they should artificially learn.

3. Master the five magic words

Along with the words "please" and "thank you" make sure that the child understands "excuse me", "may I" and "no thanks". These words must be mastered by our children for everyday life.

4. Give examples of polite behavior

Children will always imitate what their parents do. Therefore, parents who are with their children must always speak politely so that they imitate the kind words you say.

5. Confessing a child in a public place

Being out in the neighborhood or in activities and conversations will help them feel recognized and it will reduce the desire to seek attention.

Recognizing and interacting with the child, especially if several other children are present, also opens up opportunities to educate them about appropriate social behavior.

Also make sure that education about noise levels, meeting new people, respecting property, privacy and private spaces are big parts of fun activities with little ones everywhere.

6. Correct the child politely

Be careful if you correct a child because in this case if you do it aggressively it can cause the child to be mentally ill, they will become worse. Because in this case it can hurt the child's heart.

Consider the situation, and if necessary move your child to a more private place to explain your correction to the child. Communicating in this way shows your children that you treat them well and politely.

This is the way to teach good manners to our children. Hopefully with the above method our children can behave better in socializing with other people.

Thank you for reading hopefully useful.
