Andong Mountain has 4 peaks
Mount Andong has 4 peaks at once, which are lined up stretching from west to east, namely, Tomb Peak, Soul Peak, Andong Peak and Alap-Alap Peak. The highest peak is Andong Peak, while Puncak Jiwa is a resting place and camping ground, where you can set up a tent to wait for the sunrise.
The view at the top is usually called 360 degrees, because only by turning the body 360 degrees at the peak, climbers can see Mount Merbabu, Merapi, Sindoro, Sumbing, Prau, Ungaran, Telomoyo, and other Mount Andong peaks.
Andong Mountain is suitable for beginner climbers
Mount Andong is in great demand because it is a friendly mountain for climbers. Not only because the hiking trail is relatively easy and suitable for novice climbers, but also because it doesn't take much time to climb it.
The estimated time required from basecamp to the top of Mount Andong, only takes about 1 to 2 hours. If climbing at night, some of the paths to the top of Mount Andong will present the charming twinkling lights of Magelang City.
Although the terrain for climbing this mountain is easy, there is nothing wrong if you are careful when you first climb the mountain. It is highly recommended to invite friends who have previous experience in a climbing group, so if anything happens, your experienced friends will help you.
