On 8th May 1945, the Nazi Germany surrendered into Allied Power in WWII. This day is celebrated as the day of peace and celebration in Europe as the war effectively ended there. Yesterday, we marked the 75th anniversary of VE day. Although, the war continued outside Europe and finally ended on September 2, 1945 when Japan surrendered to USA after the first and only nuclear weapon use in a war, that resulted in deaths of around 200k people in the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan. But it all began with two of the greatest 'Evils'- Adolf Hitler, the dictator of Nazi Germany and Joseph Stalin, the dictator of Stalin's Soviet Union. The war caused by these two vanished 3% of global population.

The Devil Alliance (1939-41)

The states of Nazi Germany and Soviet Union were blood enemies. Both of them didn't like the ways of the other. But, to the world's bewilderment, they signed a non-agression pact in 1939. And when the enemies join hands, either there is destruction of them or the destruction of the world. In this case, there took place the biggest global war ever- the WWII.

The motives the of this alliance were totally political. Germany will get most of the Poland and Soviet Union will get the hold over many Baltic countries with the support of each-other. Balkans was already a region where every European country kept its eyes on. And we all know about Poland, more than 90% of 3M Jewish living there were killed by Nazis. Their officers and soldiers were also killed by Soviet. They lost their soverignity, earned after long struggles. But, the pact finally ended in 1941 when Nazi Germany invaded and captured some major cities of Soviet, experts says that it was the biggest mistake of Nazis that led to their defeat.

Stalin killed more

As a matter of fact, Stalin killed more than Hitler and moreover, he mostly killed his countrymen.

  • Stalin believed in communalism in which individual farmers were forced to come under big unified farms, Kolkhoz. Those who refused were executed along with their families. This act called dekulakization led to the death of around 800k people.

  • Many political prisoners and Judicials were killed who spoke against Stalin and tried to bring revolution.Experts estimate that around 1.2M were killed in this act called Great Purge.

  • Famines of 1946-47, caused due to failure of collective farms killed around 5.5M people.

  • Soviet Union recorded the most combat deaths in WWII-around 11M. Great part of that was killed in fighting Germany and winning back the conquered cities.

  • Total deaths caused by Stalin are supposed to be over 20M.

The Genocide of Nazis

Racial hatred against Jews and his own outcome of the 'Survival of the fittest theory' of Charles Darwin led to the deaths of 6M jews by Adolf Hitler, which was two-third of Jewish population in Europe at that time. 11M others were also killed by him. His ways were brutal and widely criticized. He brought disgrace not only to his country but also to whole human civilisation.

The Jews, Gypsies, Poles, Homosexuals, Physically Disabled, Mentally ill and Elderly were raided and put in highly populated concentration camps with no facilities, food or water. Those who *survived* there were put in gas chambers established in Poland where they were burnt alive. Moreover, the jews played an important role in making him the dictator, such were his orator skills. Eventually, he turned Christians against them.

Conclusion

So, it seems clear that even after killing comparatively less people, Adolf Hitler was the 'darkest wizard of 20th century'. Many came after him such as Mao, a ruler of China who caused famines that killed 45-60M in 1965. But, the ways of Hitler were the worst a human mind can use in a genocide. Moreover, he had a motto, to end every jewish's life. Let us wish that no such persons ever rise on our Mother Earth!
