Cons of Social Media

Social media is a great place for you to post your experiences such as: concerts, travelling and much more. 

Social media has over billions of users, like Facebook (approximately 2 billion users).

Also you can do online shopping! Sometimes you can't find something in your hometown but you have social media to sell you it. It is very helpful sometimes but beware the bad side. 

Social media has pros and cons. Social media has lots of pros but also lots of cons. Of course you know many pros. 

When the bad side is revealed you must stay safe from it! 

Lets say you and your friend are looking for a website so you can purchase concert tickets, your search on google and find a website that will sell you concert tickets! But wait, is it trusted? 

Some sites aren't just trusted and can scam you! 

You guys enter your personal information and reveal a blank screen after purchasing the "ticket". You have been scammed! It is recommended to see trusted sites so you can purchase tickets like StubHub. Don't enter you information on fishy websites or else something might happens. 

This can also happen to lots of children as well. 

A child could see a false advertisement advertising them to click the link in order to get a free phone! The website makes them input their information only to be false. Sometimes, people are able to take your own information to steal your identity. This can encourage children to input their address and take a parent or guardian's debit card sometimes as a couple of cases like that had happened. 

That's why you should make some rules or don't even let a child use social media at all. BUT! In order for them to continue I recommend you to talk to the child about social media's pros and scams in a simple way.
