Today I will talk about what a cabin crew is and what he/she really do..... Advantages and disadvantages of being a cabin crew and what are the requirements.
Cabin crew is a flight attendent or simply we say a air hostess.
SO.......the first question comes to our mind is...What does a cabin crew really do?
I know most of us think that cabin crews are just a waiter but if you have knowledge about the aviation industry you came to know about what actually the cabin crew do.
.Cabin crew's first responsibility is security of their passenger and then it comes that their passenger never feel discomfort during their journey.
When it comes to our career we all once think about their achievement or merits or we can simply say it's advantage and it's limitations or disadvantages.
So the advantages of being a cabin crew or flight attendant are mentioned below:
We get a opportunity to travel and explore the world.... The one who loves to travel this is best job they can do.
This job allows us to do other activity we love to do because cabin crew doesn't fly everyday in month.
We get to know about people of different religion, regions and even different nationality.
If you love to meet new people then,this job will give you a platform to meet new crew as when a cabin crew fly they met new members while boarding.
It also gives a good income.
Every industry has some disadvantage... So now it comes to it's demerits:
You get very less time to spent with your friends and family.
It is said that everytime you fly you lose two brain cells means from boarding or take off to landing our two brain cells damage and as a result we start forgetting things.
Aviation industry is not as easy as we think.... A cabin crew needs to work a lot so you should be hardworking.
As a cabin crew you have to smile everytime doesn't matter how critical situation goes.... So this sometimes became a bit harder.
A cabin crew never get enough sleep and as a result they sometimes feel tired.
A cabin crew do not get holidays during festivals so this is the reason you don't get enough time to spent with your family.
Then it comes to what are the requirements to become a cabin crew.
Your height should be 157cm or 5.2-5.3 feet.
You should have good grooming skills and enough confidence to face the passengers.
You should have good communication skills
Must do 12th with a specified board.... However graduation is not compulsory at all.
If you know languages other than Hindi and english so this may be a +point for you if you are giving an interview for international airlines..... However this is not compulsory at all.
for giving an interview you can check vacancies online as well as offline.... The interview generally have 3 to 4 round and it also depends on different airlines.It include grooming round,group discussion,personal interview and health based test.....Give interview doesn't matter how you look but you should at least have good communication skills....
