Growing old is inescapable but is also glorious. In the second phase of life, people have more patience, knowledge, and understanding. Aging shows how beautifully one lived their life. But growing old with more efficiency is what we are going to talk about.

After a certain age, men and women start exhibiting signs of getting old. Developing different diseases, being less efficient, muscle loss, wrinkles, and many more things mark aging. But by changing lifestyle one can age gracefully. So, let's focus on how someone can age beautifully and gracefully.

1) Drink plenty of water

Drinking a sufficient amount of water is necessary. It helps in nourishing skin, hair, and nails by keeping it hydrated. 

Water helps in smooth digestion as well. When mixed with herbal tea it flushes out all the toxins out of the body. So start keeping your body hydrated by drinking plenty of it and even spraying it on your hairs to avoid dry and flaky skin, scalp and nails

2) Walk and exercise daily

Walking for 30 minutes helps in keeping your body efficient. Exercise is of extensive importance. As we age we start losing muscles, exercise is one good way to build muscles again.

Exercise is good for the skin as well. Exercise increases blood flow to the cells hence nourishing them and blood flow even remove waste from cells making it more efficient and helping in the nourishing body.

Our bone starts reducing after the age of 40 which results in bending of the back and head. Exercise helps in reversing the effects of bone loss by correcting the posture and giving a stronger frame to the body.

3)Watch your diet

Diet plays a vital role in maintaining a good and healthy body. Add more fruits, green vegetables, carbohydrates, proteins in your diet, and cut on sugar and bad fat from your life. This will help maintain a good mood, healthy body, and younger you.

Aging may result in various diseases like diabetes,  cholesterol, high blood pressure, and other diseases. To avoid them maintaining a healthy diet is necessary. 

Add food containing omega-3 like walnuts, tuna this will control all body hormones and help in avoiding diseases. It will even help in nourishing skin.

Add calcium, vitamin D, and vitamin B12( in women after menopause to reduce bone loss) in your diet this will help in the straightening and strengthening of the body.

4) Get a proper sleep

Beauty sleep is not a myth. People who sleep for 7-9 hours have better skin than the one who sleeps for less than 5 hours. Our cells renew faster when we are asleep, so when we sleep less our cells do not renew itself giving a dull appearance to our body especially while aging when this process is slowing down.

People with less sleep are found to have a higher level of cortisol and glucose developing hypertension and type 2 diabetes in people.

So to keep ourselves healthy sleep gets higher importance

5) Maintain a positive attitude

This is one of the important points in today's era. The one who embraces their age and grays is happier than the one who doesn't.

A person with a positive attitude is more likely to live longer than the one with a negative attitude towards life. In simple words, attitude matters,  the one with a positive attitude recover faster than the other one.

Aging can be difficult, don't forget to talk during this phase. Developing depression during this time is common so avoiding talking is a big "NO". Never throw yourself in a situation where you are alone or you feel lonely. Don't distance yourself from your family or friends be open about yourself to live your life positively and gracefully

6) Let the child in you reborn

It is very important to be like a child and feel like one. Don't let your body feel the tension in your daily routine. 

It is said as we age, we age into our childhood. So age into a happier childhood.

Things can be changed, lifestyle can be changed but happiness is key to what we were talking for so long. Happiness is key to graceful life.

Have a positive attitude towards life be happy about it, flex your aging, and follow a healthy life and you are there aging gracefully.
