There is a fountain that truly does grant wishes to those who throw coins in it.

My friend and I were sitting in a park talking on the topic of wishes when an old man was passing by us who stopped to listen to us...

 We got a little scared.  Old man started talking...

Do you want to fulfill your wishes..??? We looked at each other...

 The old man repeated his question.

 We said yes, I nodded comfortably...

 So the old man told us, pointing to a large mountain behind him, and said that there is a fountain behind this big mountain that fulfills the desires/wishes of the people...

 We were curious to hear this,, my friend asked how we can fulfill our desires with that fountain...?

 So the old man said that when you throw a thousand coins into that spring, the fountain will ask you about your desire..

But

your wish will come true only if you never go there again and promise that you will keep the secret of this fountain a secret..

Hearing these words, We felt that there is something wrong... so we were willing to do whatever the old man told us to do to find the truth.

 We were told to come at 2:30 p.m.

 We arrived at night with 1000 coins.  There was no one there but a beautiful fountain ...

 We went near the spring.  And threw 1000 coins in this spring.

 As we tossed the coins, we heard a loud voice ... in which someone was asking us about our wish..

 We were asked to express our wish aloud..(that thing increased our curiosity..)

 Well, we said our wishes aloud and left.

 Because we had a lot of questions in our minds, we hid behind a big mountain and started looking at that spring.  

A short time later, a man approached the fountain and pulled out a large net with a lot of coins in it. Our suspicion turned into belief ... 

It was a fraud to take money from all the people and behind all this was the same old man who told us about this fountain.

 We told the police the next day and had the old man arrested...!!!

Point to Ponder!!

The lesson we learn from this story is that we should never be fooled by any lies and never be a part of any such fraud.  Pray to Allah alone for your desires because of course He is the only one who hears and accepts all prayers.
