Sometimes football can be extremely brutal on football coaches who despite having accomplished so much for a club, but only to be sacked for some poor results, I still remember how Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri was sacked one year after winning the Premier League, I still recall how Jose Mourinho was sacked by Manchester United after being the only manager to win a trophy since Alex Ferguson dynasty. Even Mauricio Pochettino wasn't that bad, he took Tottenham to their first champions league final for crying out loud, but Tottenham expected trophies.
The new season will soon kick-off and I reckon the following managers will likely be under pressure.
Jose Mourinho
Tottenham finished sixth last season at the Premier League table and it looks like if the club doesn't do satisfactorily in the next season Mourinho might not be in the club for long.
Frank Lampard
Catching sight of how Chelsea is embarking to bolster their squad by spending cash on new players, I feel this will generate more tension on Lampard if Chelsea does not win a trophy next season. The reason for his appointment as Chelsea Manager was his achievement with Derby County.
Andrea Pirlo
Despite Maurizio sarri winning the Italian league, he was still sacked by Juventus and Andrea Pirlo was nominated as the new manager, it will depend on how Juventus operate at the club or else he might not be at the club for long.
Ronald Koeman
A former Dutch international player who was recently signed by FC Barcelona as their new manager will be gaping to improve the squad after their disappointing season, else he will be axed shortly, he was a former Barcelona player who scored the winning goal again Samporida to give Barcelona their first European cup. All eyes on him to see how he oversees Barcelona next season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjær
The baby-faced assassin who despite not winning a trophy last season still managed to qualify Manchester United to play Champions League football next season, fans will certainly expect to see him win a trophy at least next season. Some fans are starting to see him as the next Alex Ferguson.
Who do you see getting sacked next season? Comment if not on the list...
